ryujin Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 I setup RWC+NOAA and it seems to work fine... however the ATIS does not seem to reflect NOAA metars ... where is X-Plane reading the info to fill the ATIS? Thank you Quote
sundog Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 I don't know. RWC only looks at METAR information; it doesn't get involved with ATIS in any way. Quote

Thank you I did run RWC + SKMP without any ATIS issue. Then i decided to install NOAA to test venturasky script, i immediately noticed a weird behavior. Now ATIS reads current aircraft position winds and altimeter, not station reporting data. i.e. you are 14500ft descending towards the destination airport and destination airport ATIS reads current aircraft position winds instead of destination airport winds. I haven't done any research yet to understand this. Do not know if this is a setting under NOAA i have to modify, or a bug... Quote
