Tom Stian Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Hello I want to temporary disable SMP and RWC. Is it enough to move out the two folders from plugins folder? Or is it other files that are changed during the SMP/RWC install also? Quote
Defiance_co Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) Hiya Tom, I can tell you two ways i have done it, seemingly will no ill effects 1: Move Silverlining + RWC folders out of the Plugins folder (save safe somehwere obviously) 2: Then go into the X-Aviation folder in x-plane folder, you should have four items regarding to SMP and RWC, i copy that whole folder for safety, then remove the smp+rwc four items I think this is important, i do this as but not 100% certain if needed, whenever i want smp/rwc back installed, i replace All the x-aviation folder items with my Whole Folder Backup (saved somewhere) , then place back silverling and rwc folder in plugins, Idea is, you restore all in the X-Aviation folder back to the state before removing silverlining and rwc plugin folders Hope that makes sense If in doubt, don't follow what i've said lol Don't want anyone to lose a slot etc Have Fun Tony Edited July 4, 2016 by Defiance_co spellingz Quote
sundog Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 You can also just use X-Plane's plugin admin menu to disable the "SilverLining" plugin. 2 Quote
Tom Stian Posted July 4, 2016 Author Report Posted July 4, 2016 Thanks to both of you. I did remove the SilverLing and RWC folder from plugins folder. But I have some weired altitudes on the clouds with the default clouds. So just had to check if it is some more I have to remove when I test this out. Quote

sundog Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 In newer versions of SMP, it seems the Plugin Admin menu labels it as SkyMaxx Pro and not SilverLining (just to avoid any confusion.) Disabling it there will in fact disable SMP. Quote
