brucie1dog Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 X-Plane just crashed and crashed 2 more times when I tried to open it. Last time this happened Frank said it was a bad string of METAR info from X-Plane. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks, Andy Quote
brucie1dog Posted June 17, 2016 Author Report Posted June 17, 2016 X-Plane just opened again so I am going g to assume with the mMETAR string from X-Plane. Quote
sundog Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) If this happens again, please post your log.txt so we can tell what happened. Also, there is a known issue with X-Plane 10.50b1 where many plugins crash at startup in hard to reproduce manners. If you installed 10.50b1, roll back to 10.45. Edited June 17, 2016 by sundog Quote
brucie1dog Posted June 17, 2016 Author Report Posted June 17, 2016 I haven't upgraded to 10.50 yet. Enclosing my recent log text. As I mentioned I was able to start X_Plane last night after this happened a few times. I haven't had an opportunity to start a flight yet. Many Thanks, Andy Log.txt Quote
sundog Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 We'd have to see the log.txt following a crash to say if it's METAR related or not. I suspect it wasn't - last time it happened, there were tons of reports from everyone at the same time. The only thing I see in your log that's amiss is that you have a very old version of SASL that's known to cause some problems. You might want to try updating your 777 to the latest version. Quote
john82088 Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 I am using xplane 10.45 and I have not been able to get xplane to open again. It crashed and now will not allow me to open the program again. Please see attached log file. Thanks. Log.txt Quote

john82088 Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 I got xplane going again after 6 crashes in a row. I am not sure what you mean? When I go to the Real Weather Connector, I have checked Automatic (Only when Real World Weather is on). I also have checked "Never change visible weather". I believe these are the default settings for the program. Is this what you mean? Quote
aerogram Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Adding my voice to the chorus. SkyMaxx causes CTD every time when real weather is selected, either on startup or when the sim is running, Log.txt attached Any help appreciated Log.txt Quote
