motoadve Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 If I set the throttle in the quadrant that comes wit the Yoke, it never go to idle and actually when reducing power , I get power again when is near idle and its never stady, the mixture and propeller work fine.I tried calibrating thru X plane and windows and now luck.Help needed Quote
steven winslow Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Has it worked properly before? Have you recently updated your X-Plane version? Try deleting your preferences and re-calibrating the yoke and throttle quadrant. I know it's a pain to reset all your prefs, but sometimes it is necessary. Quote
motoadve Posted October 10, 2010 Author Report Posted October 10, 2010 Problem is that it also spikes under the windows calbration, even after calibrated.Any drivers or something fix for this? Quote
steven winslow Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Hmmm...sounds like you might just have a bad throttle quadrant. How old is it? You could try the plugins at the org but they are for the panels. Try reinstalling the driver software that came with your yoke. Or go to http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php and download the driver software there. Quote
Kaphias Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Does this happen to all aircraft? Try assigning throttle to either the mixture or pitch levers and see if the issue still occurs. Quote
motoadve Posted October 10, 2010 Author Report Posted October 10, 2010 All aircraft.Mixture and propeller levers work fine though Quote
Kaphias Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 All aircraft.Mixture and propeller levers work fine thoughMixture and propeller levers work fine when set to control throttle? If so, then I'd be almost certain that it's an issue with the quadrant. As Steven asked, how old is it? Quote
garrettm30 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I had some CH Products rudder pedals that went twitchy on me. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Finally I took them apart and soldered some wires that were just snapped together. It fixed it up, but the pedals took a while to figure out how to put back together. Anyway, the twitchiness sounds like a bad connection, at least in my very limited experience. I still use those pedals now. Quote
