A/T disconnect

Is there an actual command or dataref for auto-throttle disconnect? The best I have been able to do is

ixeg/733/MCP/mcp_at_arm_act 0

But that just switches off the A/T all together (disarming it). The default X-Plane one doesn't seem to work for me.

go to the aircraft root folder / documentation / 2-interface guide.pdf

Starting page 15 you have all custom commands you can map to keys/buttons of your liking.

-You can move up/down the mcp switch for arming disarming A/T

-you can engage TOGA button pressent on the  throttle levers on the real thing

-You can disengage A/T by pressing the A/T disc button on the sides of the throttles as well

All you are looking for to mimic pushing the buttons like on the real thing is there.

Interesting, so even using the command

ixeg/733/MCP/mcp_at_disengage_act 1

(which is what fires when you push the button on the throttles) it trips the A/T arm switch on the MCP. Is that how the real plane works too?

Edit: It is indeed how the real plane works. http://www.flaps2approach.com/journal/2014/9/2/b737-autothrottle-at-normal-and-non-normal-operations.html

A/T disengage button on throttle thrust lever.  Depressing this button will disengage the A/T and disconnect the A/T solenoid switch on the MCP.

Except that the basic AT commands are both missing and out of date as of 1.04.

To program a joystick, use command I mentioned earlier and will mimic th A/T disengage button.  For TOGA use default "sim/engines/TOGA_power"
