Hi I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong (tbh more experienced in NG) FMC take off N1 settings 95, AT arm and when pressing TOGA in the throttle, my N1 won't reach 95 instead it only reach 85, what I'm missing? Why is so derated?

Thanks,

Hi Alex

I am having similar problems(I have posted in the systems forum). I am currently taking off at altitude and seeing this, don't know if there is something I'm not inputting.

I will have another look later this evening. Thought it strange someone else is having the same problem.

Sorry for asking here...but since you are talking about TOGA....Jan, how can I select a derate? I didn't understand exactly how TOGA should work

Thanks Simon for your reply, yes totally lost about this situation, not so expert about making and uploading a video to show this situation.

Judeb: what video and where at 17:50?

Thanks,

Hi Alex

Yes I am the same as you regarding the video. Later I will watch the tutorial video 2 out KTUS to see how Jan sets up the N1 page. I may then just go through and take screenshots of my selections on my next flight.

I think the video was to show Vespa about derated takeoffs.

One thing I was wondering is if packs should be off to give full power to the engines, but can't find this in any checklists.

I'm sure we'll get there in the end.

Simon
