I have one question to this announcement Integration with SoundMaxx - Lightning effects in SkyMaxx Pro 4 will trigger 3D positional thunder sound effects when SoundMaxx is installed Is SoundMaxx ready to work with SMP4 in X-Plane 10 and 11 or does it need an update for X-Plane 11? I have everything but I want to ask before installing SoundMaxx 1.0 into X-Plane 11? best regards, Carsten

How comes that from one day to another SMP4.01 is causing crash using different version of X-Plane (10.51, 11.10)? Flying JAR A320 on my iMac27 under XP10.51 and JAR A330 under the last beta version10 of XP11, X-plane crashes in the middle of the flight while trying to change claus formations. For further information I attached the log.txt file from my last flight/crash. I will be glad if someone can tell me about the possible causes..... Log copy.txt

My initial impression of SMP4 is fairly positive--cloud rendering looks better than v3, frame rates seem to be no worse (or not much worse), along with a few other virtues. However, to my eye the precipitation does not appear very realistic. For one thing, it's hard to distinguish rain from snow because at least some raindrops seem to fall at an unrealistically slow rate, and (in my estimation) are unrealistically large (playing around with configuration options, per the manual, does not seem to have a significant effect). I've tested this under various weather conditions using www.badbadweather.com to find airports with moderate-to-severe thunderstorms, rain, snow, etc. Additionally, while on the ground I hear no sound effects for rain. I need to test more thoroughly, but my initial impression of the rain and snow effects are not too positive (just offering this as friendly feedback). On the snow side, I noticed immediately that my snow drift surface textures now move/change at hyper-speed with SMP4 installed; as though the wind is blowing at 200+ kts! It would also be nice, perhaps in the future, to have the ability to adjust the rate of snow and rainfall (i.e., from light to heavy). Thanks.

Hi, I uses XP11pb3. Windows 8.1. I have now switched from SMP 3.2 as worked so good, except the dark edges of the clouds. I always got all layers and smooth transitions with the help of VenturaSky. But now... ...I get nothing worth watching. I've tried all sorts of different settings, with and without VenturaSky, Nooa, etc etc. Nothing seems to help. Somebody who has any idea Best Regards
