Obviously could be pilot error, but I cannot figure out why the Mu-2 flies appx 5 degrees nose up, and about 80kn true too slowly. I'm fairly certain this is not expected behavior. If anyone has any tips, it would be appreciated. I've tried changing the centre of gravity and the plane rebalances back to 5 degrees nose up. I've tried trimming it out hard, same thing.

Hello, I've been searching for proper settings for normal climb and cruise. In the Charts document I see several options depending on prop setting and temperature. See the attached. I think I'm pushing the temp but I'm trying to balance with speed: 234± is all I can get at that altitude (IAS is about 172). In looking at the Cruise chart (p21), -39°, my TRQ setting for FL220 is about right, but no airspeeds are given. I've seen Prop numbers anywhere between 1230 and 1330, but I can't tell those settings are doing, other than affecting that gauge . Should the prop settings change as the climb progresses and then again at cruise? To summarize: Climb 1) TRQ, 2) Prop settings? Cruise 1) TRQ, 2) Prop settings? I'm just looking for best practices for climb and cruise. Thanks! Brad

Hi Guys, i´m trying to figure out how i should proceed to select a good cruise altitude. I read some things about planes having a designated max alt for a specific weight, say FL250 is max alt with 30000lbs (i made these values up!). Is there some kind of chart or table where i can check how hi i can fly? Or a formula to calculate? How do YOU decide about the altitude? Cheers Chris
