  1. I can't wait for this plane. Love the videos, and the pic of the cockpit progress is amazing.
  2. I can not wait for this plane.. this might just be the best plane for any flight sim..
  3. Ohhh Wellll.. On the bright side it looks like the LES SAAB will be out soon.. that Plane fits the time I have for sim sessions better anyways
  4. Thanks for that info, That explains quite a bit. So the developer is X-plane.org LOL so they are in bed with the .org
  5. thanks i will check that out I have nothing against the devolper.. I looked for a website for them and could not find one. I do not wish to talk to them over at the org. I have a working account there but I am sure it would be insta ban if I go over there asking if I could buy it elsewhere.as far as in bed with the org.... ok fine lets reword it.. it looks like they have agreed to provide the org with exclusive rights to market the 777 when I am not at work I will try to find a contact for the dev and see if there is a way I can purchase it. one other thing.. cant stand nicholas is a little strong. I just did not like the way I was treated by him. in fact I may have a issue when carenardo releases updates because I purchased them through the .org and I have very little confidence in nicholas sending me my update link.. we will see hopefully I am wrong on that.
  6. Most of you don't know the background story and I really dont want to get into it too much right now but I can't stand the owner of the .org he treated me like shit on my last purchase from his site and I will never buy a product from him again. If that means certain releases I will go without then FINE. Sure Devs can choose to sell where they want and consumers can also choose to not purchase the product,. I stand by my "in bed with the org comment" Since the Devs of that plane do not sell the product in the US anywhere other than the org it would seem to me that it is pretty obvious that they have some sort of agreement with the .org.. If the dev wants and has another means to sell it to me they can contact me on here to sell it to me directly, if they cant do that or aerosoft can't sell it to me then I will skip it and that is less money that they made on the product. So if the Dev or anybody else has a way to purchase it please let me know,
  7. The really interesting thing is on the aerosoft site they have the old version of the plane on the french version of their site but not the english version. It's a shame that the devs of that plane seem to be in bed with the org.
  8. I could get it somewhere other than the .org... Any devs readings this should note that when you limit your distribution to one outlet you are limiting your customer base. With the liberal use of banning over there I am sure the devs of this plane lost quite a few sales.
  9. thanks this is great
  10. WTF... Al Sharpton and jesse jackson are outside of my house protesting because I am violating the civil rights of others in my va by flying payware..
  11. LOL how is it favortism if some people want to fly a payware plane, the pilot without that plane has the option of a free one or buying the payware one.
  12. The reason why we started talking about it is because another member suggested adding a few other popular models such as the crj and 777 and you said why on earth would I want a payware fleet. I am telling you why. Not all your pilots need to have the same planes or are going to want the same planes, nor will they likely fly all of them. . Plus I think you have too many longer range planes in your fleet. Your just starting your va so you can't have a your loss not mine attitude. What would they be loosing by not joining???? You need to entice people to fly for you, the two VA's I fly for don't act that way and check out this roster for one of them http://www.swavirtual.com/wn/?lib=roster
  13. As long as your having fun that's all that matters.
  14. So i would be a moron if I left my VA if they forced me into a default style plane with no FMS or systems? I would be bored out of my mind flying that way. Why does it matter to another pilot what I am flying as long as it's a plane that the airline flies... If another pilot cant afford the payware one he can fly the freeware one.. Both pilots get credit for the time. Pilot A in freeware 757 is having a good old time and gets credit for his flight pilot b is a payware 757 is having a good old time and gets credit for his flight What is unfair.. If pilot A is jealous that pilot B has a payware plane he has the options to earn some money and buy it. That is life, I wished I owned my own RL plane.. I can't afford it so should others be restricted from owning a plane because I can't afford it... NO.. What is so unfair? Either way it's your VA if you want to limit people and have them leave as more and more high quality payware liners come out then so be it.
  15. My point is as the payware gets better for X-plane people are going to leave or not fly much for his va because they are going to want to fly there highly realistic payware. I fail to see how it's unfair to members that use the freeware version as long as both get hours who cares? If your happy with freeware fly freeware, if you want a more out of your simming buy more realistic deeper planes. My point to him is he is limiting his VA, If I was running it I would come up with a good mix of airliners ranging from long haul to short haul and include some models that have a following in x-plane, so I don't mean fly whatever you want but don't go out of your way to exclude the best planes x-plane has to offer either I am flying right now for my VA in the NGX.. if I did not wamt to buy a plane like that the VA has a freeware version for every plane in the United fleet.. If they said you must use the freeware version I would leave. Some simmers don't care for a accurate FMC or flight model or the systems that the NGX offers so they choose to fly free ones. well I am decending into KIAD now so please excuse any typos.
  16. If they have a freeware version then why does it matter that some people are using a payware one. If pilot A has a free 757 he is happy with and pilot B is a systems junkie or prefers the flight model of a payware 757 why does it matter to pilot A that pilot B is using a payware one.. they are both getting credit for hours. What will happen is Pilot B will leave your VA Your seriously limiting the growth of your airline by excluding people, I know there is not many good payware tubeliners for X-plane right now but that is changing.. IXEG plane looks awesome, PMDG is converting over at least one plane and I am sure there will be others. I am flying for one of my VA's right now.. UAL363 on vatsim KBOS-KIAD in the NGX
  17. I am just curious if you have a VA that has for a fleet 737's and 747's for example why would it be important to exclude a payware 737??? It really makes no sense to me, I would have flown exactly zero flights for swavirtual if they excluded all the payware 737's. The way I see it as long as it's a model of plane you allow who cares if everybody in the fleet has the exact same one. Yeah if I try to file a pirep using a airbus 320 at a swa va yeah that will be rejected obviously but who cares if a pilot uses brand x,y or z 737 What if somebody releases a awesome payware 757 for X-plane will the payware 757 be excluded??? and if you do exlude it don't you think your pilots will be thinking " wow I really would like to be flying my awesome new payware high fidelity plane I just payed 80 bucks for" How long do you think they are going to continue to fly for you? Maybe my point of view is different because I am just starting to experiment with x-plane but do my VA flying on MSFS where the difference between the top quality payware and freeware is HUGE.. After flying the NGX I could never fly a project open sky or any other freeware one. I think the people who never got into PMDG, level D or flight sim labs tubeliners in msfs will understand when the IXEG 737 comes out. One you have flown high fidelity it's hard to go back.
  18. Maybe it's different in X-plane VA's but all of the big MSFS VA's allow you to fly payware as long as it's what the real airline flys.. I fly for http://www.swavirtual.com WN flys the 737 so I can choose any of the payware models or they have some freeware WN 737's that many of the pilots fly that have older systems and or don't want to buy the IFLY or PMDG 737 I also fly for http://www.virtualunitedairlines.org/ and Same there as long as it's in the real airline fleet you can fly it. So if I started a virtual southwest va for X-plane why would I exclude the IXEG 737-3 when it comes out. ( granted it's configured a lot different than a WN 300 but still) My pilots would be thinking HMMMM I really would like to be flying my ultrabadass IXEG 737-3 but no I have to fly a freeware one????? Sorry makes no sense to me.
  19. Because many people only want to fly their payware planes. So excluding them from flying the planes they enjoy will probably lead to failure. Others here may feel different but I am not joining a VA that I can't use my crj in. I fly in two VA's using the PMDG NGX but people have the option to use freeware planes as well.
  20. I only posted once over there, complaining that my email to sales was ignored.
  21. I bet only a small percentage of people that have been banned at the org or are unhappy with their customer service post here. I work in the auto service buisness and we have lots of pissed off customers for various reasons, we do what we can but sometimes it's out of your control. If you look us up on any rating website only a handful of people have complained... we had one guy get arrested a few weeks back because he was so pissed he threatened to go get his gun and shoot the whole place up, but he has not posted online anywhere about his anger so does that mean he is another happy customer because he for whatever reason has not posted anywhere about it?
  22. Yeah you are right.. I was being very generous. The older the site and the lower the percentage that are really active.
  23. Not exverybody who is disgruntled posts here I am sure there is many more.. plus out of those 224k members most of them are inactive. I was a admin of a message forum with over 100k members and with a forum that age and sizze your lucky if 5-10 percent are active posters
  24. At somepoint his site will collapse around him
  25. Yeah it is kind of odd, but if you want I will PM you the emails. Nicolas seems to me like one of those guys that can not accept any fault or even acknowledge a upset customers concerns. in my opinion he should hire somebody to handle dealing with the customers because sometimes in retail you can't be so pigheaded... You need to be able to calm a customer down right or wrong. I was not asking for anything for free or a discount or anything other than a "hey sorry we did not get back to you and we will try and help track this down" I would have been happy with that and would have continued to purchase from his site. Instead he chose to inflame the situation by ignoring my concern and flew off the handle and banned me.
