I found a little mod that might help This joystick comes with an extra thumbrest and cover for using with left hand I removed the thum grip alltogether and used just the covers I find this is more slender and can also be used with both hands it also nmakes it easier to reach the hat switch.

I use to use Nvidia but switched to AMD a few years back may be my next Card will be Nvidea again.

back in the day when I was using FS9 on very underpowered PC's I found that 2D panels looked more realistic and increased performance but these days 2D panel view tends to be a locked 3D panel and 3D panels have got alot more photo realistic . I can see where true 2D panels could have there place with Simmers that fly alot of IFR through intense weather . But for every day flying using a hatswitch or headtracking system and enjoying the extreme scenery 3d cockpits are where its at.

Pilot view does not need track IR "There is a misinterpretation that this is a Track IR plugin first and foremost. It is not and if it was it would be called TrackIR something or other. This plugin was designed to allow the pilot head to be positioned in a 3D cockpit. That is why there is a plugin for Windows. Linux and OSX. Because I had a Track IR 4 device I added support for windows as that is my main Flight Sim OS. This was straightforward as I had the Natural Point SDK, which only supports windows. So this plugin only has Track IR support on windows. Please do not email me about Track IR for Linux or OSX. I also use the forces feature as I find it more controlable than the Cinema Verite setting in Xplane. Pilot view allows you to position your view of the cockpit to your liking and it saves your settings per aircraft everytime you load the aircraft and enable Pilot view it will switch to your prefered view and forces setting for that aircraft . In Xplane 10 you will have to manually switch to comand view as pilot view defalts to mouse view when enabled . If you have your Hat switch set for panning the cockpit.

I have a theory that microsoft is about alow the use of Xbox games on PC . People have told me that this would not make sense because they make so much on the Xbox Hardware . But lets face most xbox users also have PCs, Game consoles are basically designed for the none technical gamers, users that dont want to or find it to hard to install and setup pc games . They just want Plug and play . Now that the kinect is usable on PC windows7 and 8 microsoft could create Xbox Emulation software to run Xbox games on PC . What would microsoft gain from this ? They could save money by producing games on only one format .
