  1. After the 1.2 upgrade, I'm just lovin the Falco, much more subtle handling, tinted canopy and perfect autopilot and nav. Just a simple video (no real editing), showing a great plane over my city, looking even better with the use of trackir. Hmm, that night lighting is better than I thought, might have potential for a more radical vid. Second instalment over Mt. Dandenong to come.
  2. Superb Theo, just amazing. I like the hand-hold above the window, nice detail
  3. Already too early to plead for T34 liveries? Wikipedia and T34.com have some nice ones, these would be amazing with the Rollon treatment (I note these are not the 34C, but it is a sim...):
  4. Seconded! Javier you work so quick! I still love putting around in your AT-6, I know it was an early model, but the cockpit has such a good atmosphere about it (i love the filthy front of the canopy) and the handlings so right- so what this new one will be like....
  5. Yay Goran, looking slick! The 742 must be close to finished then, it's only got 3 more engines, room for an engineer and 400 more passengers
  6. Looks beautiful Ola. So, you planning to release this formally, if so when? Count me into the queue, this would be a great backdrop for videos & just plain touring.
  7. Thinking laterally? A gpu and team? A bonus sundowner and xaviation tshirt for free?
  8. Oh no, I thought that mustve been the shuttle transporter.... What else? Dear God, don't do this to her, spawn of Satan:
  9. I really want to post my plans about this project, but I can't just yet. The project is still moving forward, but I can't elaborate on it just yet. I can say it will be finished sooner than expected and will have something extra "attached" to it. I love speculation! Attached? What could be attached to a 747? If u did, will u model the interior like this?
  10. One of those two. That's a classy shirt, ain't it? yes cam, nice shirt, would go well with my .org cravat.
  11. The great Falco 1.2 update Tom and Team, finally everything works so well, and looks even more gorgeous. Speaking of gorgeous, I HAVE to ask, who's the hunk in the X-Aviation top, with the barrell-chest? ToughTom? CammoCam? Enough to make me go the other way (well, maybe not quite, but he's very handsome :-) He's very well lit at night too, love the designer stubble. But seriously, a great update and this plane makes everything feel so real. Handling's much better too. Some pin-ups:
  12. sorry Theo, I shouldn't 'crack' jokes ;D : LOL Simon!! You "crack" me up!. But seriously, if you keep trying to make jokes, I'm going to feel absolutely "shattered"! NOTAM Corn-alert. ;D
  13. sorry Theo, I shouldn't 'crack' jokes ;D :
  14. Excellent, "smashing" decision Goran!
  15. Great idea Theo, such personal attention is what makes xp and you guys stand out. Haha, now go get to work with that hammer and knock a few dents in her...
  16. like the 2 .acf file idea, let the user choose. Onya everyone, let's go to the streets to protest and demand the cracked glass! Meet me at Flinders St at 10:00am :-)
  17. Whoops sorry THEO, didn't realise it was u! Thanks for the informative reply. Just heard that the pmdg 737-800 NG is featuring the worn look, so ur in good company, or ahead. Love your texturing work, go the full hog I reckon, show off to everyone your skills!
  18. no worries Goran. Never known a bit of broken glass to cause so much controversy. I personally would not find it distracting, as long as frequencies were readable. It would give the plane a further point of difference in a busy marketplace though. Muddy scuff marks on the floor would be nice too....those footy players can be filthy sometimes
  19. Cool, dirty finger marks on the rocker switches! Pity that the cracked glass isn't there on the com panel. Still looks great though
  20. Totally agree with Cameron, finally saw the gallery on a large LCD TV, they look great! Textures are nicely muted, not cartoon fsx-like. Really looking forward to this release.
  21. Looking better every day Goran. Love the Beechcraft logo on the VSI!, great attention to detail. Happy to offer video hints too. Try to upload @ 1280 by 720, that's the most efficient res. Also, please post the YouTube hotlink for us iPhone users. More detail in one of your gauges than any whole vanilla xplane model.

    X-Rated Falco

==================== Finally got to the PC Tom. Flying around YPID in your Falco has reminded me just how good your creation is. Thankyou for giving us dreamers a hint of what it must be like to fly this classic plane. Hurry up with the update X-Aviation please (but I know you have lots on, so am very patient!) Alfred of Sequoia left a nice note for you on my Youtube: "We sell the Sequoia Falco, and in years past I've drawn every single sheet of the Falco plans by hand with ink on mylar, and it's just stunning for me to see the Falco now in an X-Plane model and to be done with such detail. On Saturday, the Falco's designer, Stelio Frati, now 91, watched these in Milan, Italy and Mr. Frati said he never imagined the Falco would come this far. Congratulations to Tom Kyler on this incredible work. — Alfred Scott, Sequoia Aircraft 4 days ago" Hope these are okay, let me know by pm if you need any tweaks.

    X-Rated Falco

no problems Tom, assume it's ok to wait for this weekend? I'll use 4:3 ratio for the screenies.
  24. Looks beautiful Ola. So disappointed, thought it was the new Avalon airport in Victoria. My fellow aussies will know the joke I'm making there - what a dump that is (airport), I've sworn only to go there for the airshow....

    X-Rated Falco

Well thanks Tom, that's wonderful to hear, glad they like it, and an honour that Stelio has seen and likes it. What a genius he must be. I'll check out there forums later.
