1. Gran Turismo 5 – Addiction alert! I’d better explain myself. In addition to being pretty crook right now, which is really denting my productivity, I just picked up Gran Turismo 5. There are many reviews out there, some great, some not that impressed with it. I’m a GT veteran, had everyone since day 1 (it hurts to play GT1 now), so... http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/30/gran-turismo-5-addiction-alert/
2. Have you ever heard of Flight Sim Pro? If not, or if you are curious about the product, read this first before deciding to buy: http://www.flightsimulatornetwork.com/page/why-you-dont-want-to-buy http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/30/have-you-ever-heard-of-flight-sim-pro/
3. I'd like to announce that today I discovered life in a previously uninhabitable place - my sneakers! ;D Still, it does have far reaching implications, if we can find an arsenic-based planet ??? ??? ??? Seems second tree to me...
4. thats a pretty shot nout
5. Great news Cameron, and better than a measly 15% off. Seriously, why bother. Sending a few YouTube fans your way who've previously asked when your planes are for sale
6. Something Interesting This Way Comes, Part the Second Oh deary me. Oh me. Oh my. Palm trees. Tradewinds. Catherine Deneuve…and dancing in the moonlight. I can see it all now. Can you? If not, you’d better take a close look at what XPFR has been up to. And not at the airplanes! That’s right. Look CLOSER! You do of course know it is [...] http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/something-interesting-this-way-comes-part-the-second/
7. Poll Results – Best sounding Xplane filee Thankyou to all who voted in this poll, getting hundreds of votes really made us feel that future polls are worth continuing and that the topic of Xplane sound is popular. The top results were: AN-148 – 36% of the votes, with over 70 votes. Well done team, especially for a first-effort! For your aural ... http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/25/poll-results-best-sounding-xplane-file/
8. Thanksgiving Weekend Update: Where’d the Screenshots Go? Posting large screenshots to the main blog was eating up storage space, so we’ve added a new companion blog where we’ll post larger-sized screenshots now and in the future, and this in addition to the scenery blog we’re posting information to about current & upcoming scenery projects that Simon and I [...] http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/28/thanksgiving-weekend-update/
9. Heard Around the Ramps: 29 November 2010 New images emerge of the Saab 340A We’re in the home-stretch for a December release of Leading Edge Simulation’s Saab 340A, and our über-spy snagged a few more Top Secret images of the passenger cabin, as well as one hastily grabbed cockpit image just before TSA officials grabbed our spy and took the poor girl [...] http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/29/heard-around-the-ramps-29-november-2010/
10. So, the XPlane10BetterlatethanNever Blog team have made a few nice contacts with the amazing XPFR group, so this might as well be the home for any news we hear. Try this first- you can now fly veeerrrry low over the seas... Too late in Oz, so I can't try her myself just yet!
11. Too right G! I've read that someone saw the sun reflecting from their car, onto another's bumper and then back onto their own. How they do all this with 256mb processor memory and 256 of graphics, I do not know. 5yrs of work, that's how.
12. U must be very fast Kaphias. I'm just pleased that most of the classic tracks like Autumn ring are still in. Like Xplane, I'll probably spend more time taking photos and videos than perfecting lap times. The photo mode, as u can see, is unbelievable. Full shutter and depth of field control
13. Well, I almost flew ;D...
14. Exciting new projects about to be released by XPFR, some beautiful tropical scenery and just look at that livery! I for one can't wait http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/something-interesting-this-way-comes-part-the-second/
15. 22 November 2010 News and an An148 Revision, too! Jumping Horny Toads! Man is there a lot to cover this week! This is a long post so just keep on scrolling until you get an ‘out of memory’ message! Blimey! A mad Englishman dashing across the ramp with umbrella raised, his prized Bowler about to fly off his head! What could it mean? Elementary, my [...] http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/22/22-november-2010-news-and-an-an148-revision-too/
16. KMMH Nearing Completion KMMH Mammoth Yosemite, the scenery for X-Plane 9 that Simon and I have been working on, is getting the finishing touches applied. You’ll find more images at our design blog located here: http://xp10designgroup.wordpress.com/ and at our screenshots blog, located here: http://awaken07.wordpress.com/ Look for a general release soon, and freeware, of course. http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/23/kmmh-nearing-completion/
17. Something Interesting This Way Comes Dateline: a dark, shadowy town somewhere east of Paris 24 November 2010 As an Ace Reporter, you know, I mean just KNOW, that when a cryptic email arrives at three in the morning it’s gonna be huge. When it’s as cryptic as this one was… Well, freakin’ HUGE may be an understatement. A friend in [...] http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/something-interesting-this-way-comes/
18. Know what u mean. I've just bought Wings of Prey, and the 109 was the last fighter I tried after all the other planes - despite its performance, it just seems boring- being ruthlessly efficient and clinical. I'd sell my soul for a dirty Stuka and my mum's soul for one with those huge cannons! Now that has character, real presence
19. Hi Rush, the livery comes with the plane at C74 (beechcraft section).
20. I'm going crazy waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to be released on Thursday (wed in the u.s.). I know there are a few ps3 fans here, so hope u dont mind me posting- Just saw this vid of the lighting, skip to 5.40 to see some very special effects. I'll leave it to you to discover
21. Nice lines Wow! Nice lighting on the Seaking there Jason My flight with your Texan today (favourite livery), finally did more scenery work after many days unable to, KMMH getting busier now!
22. Now that's responsive Garratt. Chip has this, and after your comments I'll get it too, but many of these apps don't have all the content we need in Aussie.
23. But if u have time, I'd love this sleek baby
24. Great idea Javier. Not enough good fighters in xplane. You're a master at curves/unique shapes, so I too would love the Mig 29. The T38 looks beautiful but too small? The WWII P61A Black Widow looks cool, with all that glass you'd do a great job! Hehe, whatever you choose I'll buy..
25. AirTrack and xpfr’s LFGH LFGH | Cosne sur Loire is a smallish airport located southeast of Orleans in the Burgundy Region of Central France, and it is also the latest scenery by XPFR for X-Plane. The airport, like the village it serves, is on the east bank of the Loire River, which by-and-large remains navigable to barge traffic today ... http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2010/11/17/airtrack-and-xpfrs-lfgh/
