  1. no way Ben!!!!! Maybe we should send them a solar powered one, via sailboat.
  2. Nice Jim. From the country that produces your global warming optimised fuel, comes more pollution! Looks nice though. Sydney's was lovely as usual, more horizontal than vertical
  3. Totally agree, interior lighting, esp. dome, is so distracting at night. How many people drive at night with their interior light on? Not many I think.
  4. Thanks for the mega detailed explanation Javier. In English too! I hadn't thought of your own problem of being expected to produce a native Spanish version. Yes it would be boooooring! And no, Google Translate wouldn't be accurate enough. Pity about the lighting. I'll stick to daytime, she's prettier then anyway.
  5. Hi Javier, bought the plane, looks great! Looks a huge effort Ever the night lighting lover, I found the below issues, read the manual and adjusted down all dome lighting but could not get the 'subtle' look like with the CRJ. This was in HDR, 64bit beta 5. I tried 32 bit but it keeps crashing. When I use the snazzy control column lighting control, I get the weird patchwork lighting, with some lit textures missing and again, the rest still too bright. Thanks
  6. That's funny! Nvidia should do an advert based on it, 'give that they may fly'
  7. Dear God, you poor man. I'm emailing our government, I think we've identified a new measure of 'poverty' :-)
  8. Exactly Cameron, same here I bought a couple of Chicane albums because of Javier's vids.
  9. Haha, I was going to say your video was too long- but that ending, very funny! Good one!
  10. I rarely set clouds above 10% but shadows n HDR can be pretty high. Give that a go. Also I find max objects can make the world look too much like the surface of the Death Star
  11. Ha, great to see you enjoying yourself! Don't fly too long though, you won't go back to scenery work.
  12. Hehe, I guessed so. I always use the toaster or my fave, the kettle analogy. You'll definitely see a difference then!
  13. Ooh you're going to love that card Chris! Expect an easy 30% improvement in fps, though I'm only guessing, you might already have a 660 in there. Doubt it though!
  14. Looks great Leen, will it be available to us? Can't wait to try!
  15. Shadow that's hilarious. Years in development, to a very high standard. You guess first?
  16. Nice details Tom! Yeah, like when I turn my PC on, the light in the house dim
  17. Nice work! A good start at least. You're never finished!
  18. +1000 John! Sometimes to learn, you need to go 'too far' and then pull back a bit. Anyway, it looks mean. Like a mini armored Air Force one, or stick a few cannons on the side to scare the bad guys!
  19. That's spectacular Javier! Always the leader in lighting. I hope the fps doesn't fall too much with such great looking tech?
  20. Very impressive, great job Andras!
  21. Hey Peter, have you thought of becoming a US Governor or European politician? Ideal experience!
  22. Looks amazing. Like a WED 3 on steroids! Nah, I'll pass up the opportunity to build revolting suburbia in pristine wilderness. Maybe if they make new scenarios where you can start with a huge metropolis and force it into economic decline and make it fail and turn it back into wilderness. Just like real life :-)
  23. Ha, it's still heaps better than I'd do!
  24. P3d is still fsx based but modified, to a minor extent now but I believe v2 will be utilising the GPU far more. Just google prepar3d forums. But v1.4 sounds a big improvement already, 10fps better. I cant be stuffed trying it yet, maybe next update. P3d is owned by Lockheed Martin. The ms announcement will only speed up the move over.
  25. Yep,,Goz is right, beware P3D, but frankly, FSX has still got 5yrs in it. But by then Xplane might have gone 128 bit and have better clouds! I wonder if they'll stop selling fsx downloads? Seems silly to me, I might ask to do it for em! Then again, killing MS Flight was too. Hmm, I wonder what's going on?
