  1. Yes it will have a paint kit included. But its spread across two 2048 texture pngs.
  2. Man that makes me want to go flying! Nice 172 BTW! 8)
  3. Quick video. Must make float model.
  4. Actually here is a way to see the banned list of xplane.org; quite a long list.( not counting the spam banns.)
  5. Well the org isn't what it use to be, Its going down hill faster than I predicted! -X-PLANE.ORG BAN BOX-
  6. @pilotman22 Just did so.
  7. Some may find this thread interesting. http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=267918
  8. I like that last picture!
  9. This may be an obvious answer/question. But did you check your firewalls?
  10. Lost most of my mind working on this. Yeah the door is still missing. Something to keep the interest.
  11. Straight up baddassed! Go RealScenery, and I thought Global Scenery was amazing a few years ago.
  12. Ran across this 777 video. Barf bags anyone? http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/973791/e25f1fae/boink_boink.html
  13. Sorry for the late response. I had the door modeled there but I removed and forgot to replace it. It will make it there
  14. Its not finished yet . But it will be for sale at x-aviation.com
  15. I spent 70$ on FSX when it came out. ???
  16. Thanks for the encouragement guys Jason, I'm not sure of where the emergencty kit is in that photo. WombatBoy Sure why not. Ill take a look at it.
  17. Here are some basic clay renders of the cabin. I'm in the process of figuring out the best way to texture in fabric and panel details.
  18. olafg the 152 is just about the same. I'm 5'7 and I made it in. Squeaks and rattles all over the place, I thought I was going to break something climbing into it! I would say comfort depends on how tall you are.
  19. I keep gamma levels at default, especially when building and texturing planes. Hopefully X-Plane 10 will have better global illumination! Seems as if the sim gradually got darker from v6. I think X-Plane v6 had the best world lighting, ever since Ive hated the lighting with a burning passion! I think it may have something to do with how v9 works with contrast. Its really irritating! Even today if you compare X-Plane's sun to other simulators or games you'll notice that the worlds are much more vibrant. The key is the way lighting is rendered, it can make 3d involvement much more livelier. Here is a great example of great lighting!
  20. Well it depends on the year and how many hours its has, annuals and all of the other stuff that goes along with buying an plane. They can run dirt cheap. Ive wanted to buy one and completely restore it; that would make a wonderful summer project. Would be great to put my a&p knowledge to use. Take a look at this, this is a rebuild of a 150. http://www.tnwings.com/n2673j.htm Very simple aircraft to work on. http://www.aso.com/listings/AircraftListings.aspx?act_id=1&mg_id=21 I usually check this site for rates on used aircraft.
  21. Will it include the "The Hatch"?
  22. Took a flight in the Starship; I had a bad itch to fly her.
  23. I saw that one, Its going to be tricky but ill give it a go.
  24. Ill give that livery a go also. Not much really under the skin the big difference would be the engines. There are a few cosmetic differences, on the Rimes 150 the engine cowling is different. Early models also had a shorter dorsal fin; take a look at the pictures Wombat Boy and Jason posted. You can see the differences there. Some 150 models were aerobatic models also which had a stronger airframe for higher gforces. The aerobatic models had sky windows. The interiors are also different. Plus various upgrades by owners.
  25. Sure Ill give that livery a go. I'm considering making the Rimes 150 also. If so that will come after the main 152.
