Airports only have buildings if there is custom built scenery for that airport so if you want to see buildings you're going to have to get some scenery and install it to your custom scenery folder also a few major airports in europe like heathrow for example have custom scenery you can see which ones have scenery by looking in the custom scenery folder
Ok since only one person has gotten even remotely close here's a vague hint 11000,1,1110,1010,10100,1,10001,1000 also the guess that was close was post 10, 101, 1000
you seriously need to turn up your rendering settings as I can get those settings and maybe even a little bit higher (pictures below) on a GTX 560 and still maintain 20-21FPS well running at 3840x1080 resolutions. Also how can you get FXAA without HDR being on?
Try the alenia c-27j it has a range of 3,100 miles and can cruise at 325kts and has a ceiling of 30,000ft here's a picture of the cockpit http://files.air-attack.com/MIL/c27j/c27j_cockpit_20110706.jpg
I tried that already unfourtanetly most of these are the instrument panel only not to mention 75% of them are only 200x300 well i need at least 700x900 and preferably 3000x4000 but usually i use 1920x1080 photos.
Where did this C-46 come from? Also it just occured to me that if i hadn't moved this summer one would be coming to my local airports open house in late july and early august along with a b-29
I think he was more talking about how you had removed the title bar and frame of each window which i didn't know how to do and i agree about the read the manual part however most of the manual is uncompleted so i can see the reason here for not reading it first
First off can you explain more about how you are trying to get xhsi2 to hook up to x-plane but one common error would be not letting xhsi2 thru the firewall on your computer also as far as making them full screen like that i have no idea how he did that and as far as the last question is concerned you can't as of now
Does anybody happen to have acces to the cockpit of a BUFFALO AIRWAYS C-46 cockpit as i need some higher res. pictures of certain parts of the cockpit such as seat supports, all of the panels etc. basicly anything small and complex (I already know about the 3-D panoramic picture of the cockpit at icepilots.com, however this one is to small to be used for detail work.) if so PLEASE tell me. Also thanks Gjalp for the compliment.
Funny you should mention that i was thinking about putting this as the description for my screenshots "when the intrepid heard they were getting a space shuttle they didn't expect it to be delivered like this" also here are a few screenshots of me landing a Cessna in a 68mph crosswind at night note the only reason the weather is displayed as green is do to the storms setting being at zero (since i wasn't in the clouds anyways) Here's a screenshot after setting the time to day
The 3-D cockpit has it's own separate OBJ plane maker only exports the plane's flight model not the OBJ's of the aircraft. the cockpit is stored in the [insert plane name here]cockpit.OBJ in the aircraft's folder all exterior OBJ's are in the objects folder and it should be noted that to give an object a texture that texture should be in the objects folder of the aircraft and be named [insert object name here].png for day/normal and [insert object name here]_lit.png for night also you may use these resolutions for texture 1920x1920 2024x2024 4048x4048
It took me about 8 tries but i managed to get the 747-200 on a carrier without crashing it also i would have reduced my signature more but my PC is kinda massive so the specs take up a ton of space
WOW!!! now I see what you're talking about And i Agree with your previous statement of 'nuff said i somehow didn't see the I in xhsi before (i'll blame it on my laptops terrible monitor)
here are a few also remember to use real world photo's as well or else you will end up with something similar to Heinz 787 Blueprints and here are some real world photo's This is a nice side view that a found here is a good front view the reason i'm using links is because the images are copyrighted so I can't copy them on to here.
I Don't Know of any programs that you can use to simulate the avionics but chances are if you sell both of the old laptops you could build an x-plane 10 capable system running Linux off of the money you get from selling them. you will have to build the computer yourself though, but judging by the fact that you had a 16 port switch just laying under your bed (not in use i assume) I'm pretty sure you know how to or can figure it out. Also yes you can network x-plane across multiple operating systems (in fact i once networked x-plane across multiple networks). Also Chris XHS actually is not enough said since a Google search out of curiosity turned up nothing but a high school. could you include a link as to whatever XHS is?
