  1. A shot of the potential 10. Essentially, the SLG forces the front of the gear up, pushing the rear of the gear into the ground, effectively making the gear higher (except only on the rear wheels) this allows the plane's angle of attack to be higher without tailstrikes. The reason it works on this plane and not on the -9 or -8 is because they don't have SLGs and the gear bogey is just free-hanging.
  2. hiroshi's research into the 787-10, apparently, the new 787-10 won't have triple bogies, and will instead have an SLG that will keep contact with the ground and force the rear wheels against the ground during the landing and takeoff phases, essentially making the gear behave as though it's longer.
  3. they don't even cant (that's the word for gears that tilt) like the real gears do.... plus they have poor replay dynamics
  4. seriously... there's a help forum for that...
  5. i heard the joke before, though apparently it was a FedEx scratch sheet
  6. A talented friend of mine has just built new GEnX engines for the 787, it's a WIP right now, and will be done in a few days, the new engines are higher in polygon count and make it easier to add details that were previously impossible to achieve. RR engines and new landing gear will follow.
  7. very nice liftoff, and a beautiful plane overall, the tires are surprisingly widely spaced, and I didn't expect a backwards tilt on them... anyways, somebody better get on that and build one!
  8. http://www.a350xwbfirstflight.com/ Airbus is about to test the first a350 in flight! watch it live from that website!!!!!

  10. stay on topic, though I will admit, i thought it was a soda can
  11. lovely paint! nice to see some more -400ER paints!
  12. i built it on a macbook standard from 09, so i'd say you'll get excellent frames
  13. From matthew, this plane will probably be the most heavily modified, because it actually has extra windows on either side
  14. Things are looking up for me! I may be acquiring my new computer in a few weeks time, no guarantees, but MAYBE.
  15. all 42 aircraft will be available on this forum's download section.
  16. ramzzess has basic ones, though from there perhaps it wouldn't be too hard to extrapolate on them, like having the fuselage at least break into parts
  17. Hey! A tidbit of information from Eport Aviation Graphics! It has been confirmed that before the end of July, there will be no less than three paints for the 787 done by him! Many of you are probably familiar with his work on my aircrafts, and I must say I'm excited about this!
  18. thanks for intervening, I assure everyone on this forum, the plane has not canibalized parts from the XPFW aircraft and that all parts, including fuselage, wings and flight surfaces were made and edited by myself. The unfortunate truth is, these planes are extremely similar (because they're both 767s) and you're bound to find some overlap or similarity between any two properly built versions of the plane. Finally, just a quick note, project oblivion is an illegal group XD my objects came from skyspirit2010, the brainchild of hiroshi.
  19. claude, the 767-300 family from XPFW was last updated in 2009, and the current download is only 16 megabites, there's now way I could've stolen objects from them simply because objects wouldn't fit into a file of that size
  20. The XPFW 767 doesn't have any objects on it... there's no way my objects could belong to XPFW, unless you're referencing project oblivion's 767 which is infact identical in size and proportion to the XPFW 767
  21. understand that we don't condone distribution of that file and that we don't do support any more for that plane. I'm okay with pictures, but those also aren't encouraged because it causes me misery when i get 20+ new emails asking for the plane
  22. I could never figure out how to fly helicopters, and when i tried, bad things always happened
