Oh, I didn't realized that. But anyways, if that turns out to be the issue -that the CL650 doesn't work because of XP11 and its age, then I'd have to buy XP12 anyways. And it actually turned out that XP11 itself was the problem, because in XP12 the CL650 works far better than ever and I have overall much, much better fps on top of a far better graphic. The switch was definitely worth it. But I wouldn't have done it if it wouldn't have been for the Challenger. PS: the two knobs(HUD and EVS) in the Captain's Glareshield pop up window are still missing though.

That's what I thought/feared. Now I had to invest 60€ in a copy of XP12 to test that theory. Your CL650 and Felis' 742 are the last two aircraft that keep me bothering with XP anyways. If the 650 still doesn't work with XP12 I'm done for good with that sim. But I'm hopeful. I don't want to loose either aircraft, especially not the Challenger which is certainly one of the most "study level" aircraft on the market. I'll report back if it had worked or not. I'm still downloading at the moment though. PS: Yes, the log isn't from after the crash, it was from one re-install of XP11 later.

Also, as an FYI to my post above. I've also tried to install the v.1.9.beta to see if that works, but the installer doesn't even let that happen at all. All I get is this message(see picture). I've also uninstalled XP11 beforehand. So all my tries (with the released and the beta version) were done with a vanilla version of the sim. PS: Is there a way to download the 1.8 version?

Hi X-Aviation-Team, i've just downloaded the latest version of the Challenger 650(v.1.9) and installed it. After that I've ran into a couple of problems. -The first one was a pop up text that told me: "There were several minor problems loading the aircraft: Aircraft/X-Aviation/CL650/CL650.acf You may need to update the airplane or report this to the aircraft's author. Please see the log.txt file for a list of the problems" -The next issue was: the entire lacking of any kind of HUD-symbology even though the aircraft and all generators were running -The third problem were: two missing knobs on the Captain's glareshield pop out panel, including their functionality -just like in the virtual cockpit. I've never had those problems with the v1.8. version -Then there was a fourth problem: something I've already encountered before and in all versions of the aircraft, a total system crash after I've touched the CDU mid flight. The only solution to that is an entire reboot of my computer. Here are some pictures and the log file. Thanks in advance Log.txt

Thanks, I'll try that. I flew two times from EHAM to LOWI now(the old PMDG tutorial flight) with the 1.8. beta version of the CL650 and I didn't had the slightest problem. Ofc I can't discern why, but I tried it one more time with the 1.7. release version and whilst I was setting up the CDU it was the complete same again -freeze and basically CTD. After that I tried the 1.8. version again and it worked flawlessly again. I hope it stays that way, but it's looking quite promising. PS: I didn't even had to tick off, or remove any of my installed plugins.

Thanks for your reply danmgro. But how and where can I get the CL650 beta?

I have constant freezes and basically CTD's after 3-8 Minutes. Sometimes I'm able to program almost all necessary data into the FMC/CDU and sometimes it already shuts down the sim in preflight. I finally bought the aircraft 4days ago, after over 1 1/2 years of hesitation and watching YT videos about it. The last thing I've expected was that I couldn't even get it airborne. I managed to do one actual flight after I've disabled Vulkan, but everybody with a AMD card knows, that that not only reduces FPS but also makes every reflecting surface translucent. I don't have to add, that that isn't an actual option for me. But it shows, that the issue is most probably driver, Vulkan, and or AMD related. Log.txt
