Thanks you taking care of the ground handling, as this something X-Plane is lacking in realism... And another short question just of curiosity? Have you coded some sort of windshield rain effect? Would be cool to see some water running up and down the glass.

Yeah it was basically this script here. See attached. Hasen't happened again ever since, so I guess FlyWithLua was and is the beast. I switched to "Dataref joy Map" which does the trick even better. MU2_command_custom.zip

After reinstall of MaxxFX everything wen't fine for a while, but than out of a sudden it happened again. After a few test it seems to be some sort of conflict with FlyWithLua and accessing datarefs of aircraft, which are driven by or use some parts of Gizmo. So I decided to get rid of the FlyWithLua actions and now it seems to work. However I haven'f found any hint in the log files, so just really can't help to spot to source of fault.

Well... it happened again. Than I had a crash to desktop ... log.txt said "crashed due to the plugin GIZMO64" Well.. .it happened thereafter again on the next flight. Now I have reinstalled MaxxFX...

Hi there, Made a flight with the fantastic MU2 today, after a few minutes MAXX FX disabled itself, some systems of the MU2 stopped working. My log.txt provided this little info "License challenge failed; MaxxFX disabled" A Gizmo restart did the trick, but that brought my MU2 into Cold&Dark at FL280... was a challage to restart it in air... The only thing I did before that happened, was to reload a FlyWithLua Script, but that one related to a custom command for the altitude selector. No nothing bout Gizmo or the MU2. Ok.. best answer may be: Do not play with FlyWithLua midair, because it might brake something... Checked. But maybe the devs could spot something out of this. X-Plane 10.35 Win7 64bit

Yes it does, even with threaded optimization off. That's why I am staying with 337.88. Indeed I have my rendering settings mostly on high levels, to gain the maximum from my hardware. I can imagine that these stutters would not appear, once the rendering settings are lowered, so giving the hardware more variable power.

Might be gpu driver related, as such issues were reported with Nvidia drivers later than 337.88 on Windows machines. Either revert back to above driver or try to turn off thread optimization in the driver 3D settings, which was reported to help minimize the described effects.

From other users at the Aerosoft forums, the 970 (brand MSI) has been reported to cause stutters, even with the latest drivers. This hits Systems running Windows 7. <br /><br />Just to be aware of.

Thanks both for your answers. Was just thinking about, first because you talking about Stratus clouds and secondly how this will help to improve visual depiction of low visibility conditions. Let's see how it works out on the new version, because up to the current version, skymaxx wasn't able to visualize such conditions properly in my view. However its getting better and better with every version. <br /><br />

Yeah ok. But how will it work if you set something like this in the METAR? VIS 2500m BKN 800 feet. May you just snap a screenshot with the new effect?! Would be cool to see if that works out.
