And went to fire up my old Dell XPS 730x to process some final day vacation shots and it the fans on it were real noisy and started revving up faster and faster, then it started making loud hi pitched noise like a bearing was about to go when froze up solid. Had to hard boot it off and upon reboot, fans made the same noise and 3 loud beeps from the MOBO. It fried. So today I decided to move away from Dell after over 10 years of owning them. Where I am from in MN just this past Thursday we had snow storm that dropped 18 inches of the white stuff on May 3 & 4, record breaking event and I was glad we missed it by about 30 miles. Turns out we had already made plans to getaway for the weekend with my wife in Owattona,MN Just so happened to be ground zero for the storm. They still had over a 12 inches on the ground when we arrived Saturday morning. Been one of the snowiest Springs ever here. Now Severe weather season begins. The joys of having seasons.

Took pictures when I did my last upgrade to my Dell XPS 730X back on December 29th 2011. Upgrades included another 1 TB Hard Drive, 12gb Ballistix RAM and GPU Zotac GTX 580 3gb. 4/ 1GB hard drives = 4TB Replacing 3/2gb Ram sticks with 3/4gb Sticks upgrading to 12GB RAM. Ugraded GPU Zotac GTX580 3gb.

Tragic it came this, so sorry Femke. But with org dealing with 232529 members, I am sure it has become a blur to their moderating staff. I was once a mod there many moons ago. Long before the draconian moderating tactics took a hold. Sad thing about it to, is if anyone who is still in good standing at the org tried to defend you, I am afraid they would quickly become another org reject to. Redfisher, Xdave has been invited to our get together many times, but always has an excuse his health is not so good. And he only lives. like 70 miles away.

I have a Dell XPS17 with an I7 2.68ghz with 8gb memory and a GTX 580 3gb built in and a Blu-burner drive plus 1080p screen. Got it when they closed them out and it still kicks my desktop. Have been a member of the org since 1999, been banned on & off for years. Things settled down as I aged and discovered to keep my mind from typing what I really feel.Works wonders and I still have resources to download and get updates. Cameron and me know all about what can happen when your passions get out of control on a keyboard. Oh well. Just another day, time to move along.

Final, and the weather engine still porked, Clouds don`t move with the wind. What a waste. This one feature is more important then any other for X-Plane 10. I was ready to get rid of 9x until 10x went final. Hmmm. what a disappointment

Cameron had an exciting weekend to top any server backup failure. Daytona races on Saturday had him busy running to. Thank God you you were not hit.

They work fine in 9x, have never moved in 10x. So disappointed by this one flaw.

Going on 4 years, been more then ready to buy, still waiting.

Still can`t wait for the weather engine to be fixed, Why is it the clouds don`t move with wind at altitude. 9x works great and you could make them move different directions at the same time. Was great for video making,

If I would have known they were going to fly them today I would drove the 88 miles over to Granite Falls and filmed some myself. Found this video they just posted on facebook.

Sorry to hear the Org gestapo are still hard at work. Been around a long time with the org and have known Tom and Cameron about as long. We have all been banned at one time or another for personal reasons the org owners and mods take out on there members. They changed hands so many times in going on 13 years I have been an org member. Learned a long time ago, to keep my posts simple and direct not to offend any mod or member. Still an active org member, but only post on rare times. Am glad I still have a good standing with Nicholas and get my purchase updates when I ask. Since I get them no other way. Jim
