  1. I guess i will go with CMD button press again..the flashing lights will anyway be right in front of me ..not much of an issue..and all my joystick buttons are already assigned! ha ha thanks sir
  2. thanks for the response sir. So I was doing that wrong then. So how can i disable autopilot? by just clicking the CMD button again it will disconnect? Suppose i dont want to use the button on the yoke since its difficult to see it...how else can i disconnect so that FD bars remain? By just clicking CMD button once again?
  3. So does this mean when we fly IXEG 737, we need to enable experimental model all the time? can we fly it without experimental model on too? what are the downsides? regards
  4. Sir So I was on my approach mode when at around 1500ft, I disconnected the autopilot. I noticed that on disconnecting the AP, the FD bars also dissapeared. Usually i follow the FD commands until about 500ft beyond which i follow the PAPI. Is the FD bars also supposed to disconnect when we disconnect AP? regards govind
  5. I came here to ask about this but since its already asked..i would just add to it. Its too difficult to taxi after landing when all the fuel is almost burnt. I brake a lot even then it accelerates too fast from 0 to 30 knots!! Its almost too difficult to taxi this on ground!! turns and all it just needs a complete full stop! I cant believe this is how the real aircraft is! Thats too much of an overpowered engine then!
  6. thank you Jan . I ask what is apple..you explained all the fruits. thank you so much
  7. hey all So i know how to set barometric height using baro knob in modern airliners of both boeing and airbus. But how to set a barometric decision height in old classics like 737 300 or 757 200 old avionics or 767?? They all have old type altimeter (guage type) . I can see an orange bug . Suppose I am going to land on 08L at EDDM. The runway elevation is 1470ft. The BARO decision height for a LOC approach is 1970ft. How do i set this in the altimeter? Do i get a minimums call out if i set it in altimeter? I know about setting radio altimeter. The query is wrt baro height. thanks in advance
  8. I agree with him completely...reflecting beacon over fuselage and ground does make it look very realistic..please include this in an upcomign update
  9. thank you jan I guess its better to fly it in V/S or VNAV..but if in VNAV i need to make sure the speeds are set correctly...thanks for the heads up regards govind
  10. dear sir I have seen this video and here the vertical profile is managed in V/S mode ....but si this how its done in real aircraft? for all aircrafts the RNAV approach is managed in VNAV/LNAV mode right? RNAV approach is not managed through V/S mode in vertical profile right?
  11. dear sir I know the general procedure to carry out an RNAV approach in boeing aircrafts...but in IXEG 737..is it modeled? like Can i do rnav approach in LNAV/VNAV mode? I know that there is no speed intervention in 737 300 and hence in VNAV mode we have to make sure we enter the right speed at different approach points..but what is the general procedure to do rnav approach in ixeg 737 ? regards govind
  12. i truly hope this will come in to picture...I have lots of good payware add ons in my fsx install and i love flyign there..for eg qualitywings, pmdg, tfdi, majestic q400etc...one thing but i missed a lot is b737 classic..and it is for only this reason i have bought xplane too...and i am not dissapointed till now..hopefully this would come as an update.. regards govind
  13. thanks jan for the response. I so wished that would work..but i am having a virtual airline software and that doesn allow shutting down the computer in between....The flight has to continue and reach the destination..I read in this forum some people have requested pause at TOD feature and also it was told it would be considered...could we expect this in a future update?
  14. dear sir So i purchased this wonderful add on and now in the process of enjoying it.... my doubt is plain and simple: Is there an option to pause the simulaiton at tod? I actually am a working person and at times i amy need to go away from sim for work issues..so this feature comes a lot handy..is it available by default in ixeg? If not, is there an add on for xplane that enables this feature? someone who can assist me would be highly appreciated. regards govind
