  1. LOL! But LBH LHH @ all this St00F! IITYWTMWYBMAD? (what you just read meant: Laugh out loud! but lets be honest laughing really hard at all this stuff! If I Tell You What This Means Will You Buy Me a Drink?)
  2. SSOne flight test, 135,000 ft, almost ready to be painted.
  3. your eyes are like nimble grasshoppers cameron.
  4. Ahh, this is one more reason to like X-pilot.
  5. What plane is in this picture???
  6. I'm with you on that! Definitely looking forward to the maiden voyage!
  7. I did install X-traffic, but that was after the sim started crashing... It is all good now, but I hope the problem will be fixed in the next update.
  8. One thing that always creeped me out was the sidewinder and those rockworms off the 'pit of peril' and the first thunderbirds movie. My favorite part was the launching sequence, and finding out what machine T2 had inside its pod. If I were to ever be part of making the show, I'd do the fireworks. To move the mouths, I heard, they had an electric servo that twiched open when you flicked a switch. The guy flicking the switch had to do it quite frantically I guess! According to my book: MOLE: Trolley Power: 1,000 b.h.p. high-compression dual-turbine engine... yay! Screw power: nuclear-fusion-powered electric motor. Drill bit: Consisted from formula C30/1, a cahelium-derived alloy... where do they come up with this stuff! TB2: There is a cahelium and graphite sheild to the nuclear reactor that powers... 2 variable cycle gas turbine engines operating turbo fans at low speed and supersonic combustion ram jets at high speed. 12 variable cycle turbo ram cruise/trim jets in tailplane, plus another 8 chemical turbo fan jets.... did you get that X-objectware???
  9. I am a proud owner of a thunderbird book, Detailed enough for ya???
  10. Ahh, the most awesomest show in the world. How can thay do that?? the mole is mobile, really tricky programming I guess, I could never do that.
  11. I moved the plane into the Aircraft folder, it works fine now, but I will still try to figure out what is wrong. sorry for posting a dud topic.
  12. 'keep it clean' - No rude stuff on screenshot or forum, otherwise you can be as messy as you like!
  13. Hi there! I am currently working on a project in planemaker, and I have spent many hours working on the planes. As soon as I got the 9.70 update to the sim, all the older 9.62 models including my project won't work, as in the sim crashes everytime I try to open up the plane. I can run the planes in planemaker, and have edited them alot but I can't fly them after I got the 9.7 update... Many other planes that I have downloaded off the net, including my own finished designs, work in the sim. but not my unpainted, unfinished planes.... huh??? X-plane just crashes! I don't often need tech support, so should I give you a log.txt or something else? thanks hampster
  14. 1. yes, if you like, but I know most will enter both categorys. 2. You can add things that aren't from the sim, I.e. pictures or clippings for backgrounds ect... But so long as it still includes an XP aircraft and is keeping the focus on the sim it will pass. (sorry for my bad grammar)
  15. Are we ready??? From here on in, the competition is go! The cometition will close on the 21st of september, so you have two weeks to create your wonderful masterpieces! When you do post your entry here, please state what category(s) they are in, that will make it easy to find the winner. The prize hasn't been chosen yet, but I am looking out for a payware aircraft to give away to the two lucky winners. Find more info in this PDF.... So to cap up, two winners will be chosen for first, one in the A category and one in the B, so get snapping and have fun! Remember, only one entry per category. -hampster-
  16. I heard that the aftershocks are calming down now, but you can never gaurantee that the quakes will stop completely for some months to come.
  17. Good idea, I've been thinking about it a bit more, and that would be really cool! I'll get back to you on dates for the competition, you guys like the idea, so I am goin ahead with it! watch this space for more info to come.... <edit> What will be the prize? If someone is happy to organise a prize that would be awesome. If not, should I contact X-aviation for a free plane.... just thinkin' at the moment, but the prize needs to be good some way or another...
  18. Deepest regards to all you cantabs, I live in auckland and surviving the earthquake we had here was hard enough for me.... (Oh, and all that snow!) But seriously, you guys are SUPER brave and alot like a trampoline, you guys just throw all the troubles up in the sky and get on with things, no matter how hard it becomes. It was world news a year ago, but most news has moved on now, thanks theo for letting them know that they are still getting sorted after a long, stressfull year. Three chears for the cantabs!
  19. Sorry if I am filling the forum up with a useless thread, but it is worth a go... THE X-PILOT SCREENSHOT COMPETITION! - I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in partaking in such a competition. Anyone can take screenshots, and the guys on the other side have successfully done a cometition already. It'd be cool to have some views on, if we do do one, how we should do it. and then if there is interest, let the competition begin! I think we should do it like this... There are two categories, edited and non-edited, and there can be one entry per category, per person. Edited category: screenshots taken from sim, and edited by the screenshot taker. Non-edited category: Plain sreenshot from sim taken and not edited in any way. there will be some sort of prize for the winners of both categories. thankyou for bearing with me... I am interested in your onpinions to come! hampster
  20. I feel your pain, my computer runs fine, but it is slow, it probably takes 20 min to get the thing to run properly...

    The Pilots

Ahhh, planes are awesome aren't they...
  23. The clone is alive! X-traffic rules!
  24. It will be payware I think.
  25. Well, I am a huge fan of brett sumpters work, he made the Huges 500D, the R44, and the chinook... The sikorsky is my favorite, The kamov ka-26. And also there is the EC-135, and the cobra. Click on the links above! These are all the Helis I know of, with a 3D cockpit that is. I think Air.C74.net has some payware helis aswell. click me! Hope this helps, you probably already have half already. -Hampster
