Ok.. so we have several options: 1. The CRJ is not well programmed and don't work with the Dreamfoil. I leave the CRJ to fly the Dreamfoil (or other plugins) 2. The Dreamfoil is not well programmed and don't let the CRJ work ok. I leave other plugins or Dreamfoil to fly my CRJ 3. None has the culpit of this and we should find a fix. Maybe the solution has to be found parallel both companies. The CRJ made a fix that is not working for everyone (for example it seems that the x737 is not more a problem.. didn't read anything about it) So maybe dreamfoild could help fixing this problem also. meanwhile I test the CRJ in Mac that seems to have a real problem here inside the main plane.. but not sure, because I don't find it. Another thing.. New brand computers.. If you fill new computers with lots of plugins.. as you can see with Dreamfoil.. can make things not work together.... Damm.. my head is going to explote!!!! I hate this part of selling!!! GRRR!!

When you come to the other side, developing, you see how amazing comes everyday.... Damm.. I am the first frustrated with this. As you say updates has to resolve problems, not create new ones.. but we are trying to understand what is happening here. BUT If you have the option to test the plane in another computer DO IT!! because I believe all this problems are because junk inside computer users. Not saying all!! but lots of them. Compatibility things.. etc... Meanwhile I am still testing.. and I have tested in 5 different computers already without any problem... anyway... .continuying...

That may help. But Philipp has to see it. When he is online he will reply and try to find a solution for this. For now I recomend all Mac users that have this problem change back to 1.0 version. I have been making this test twice. First time I had a CTD in MAC but I was loading lots of chrome webbrowsers and in one of navigations with youtube video while the plane was running I had that CTD. Second time it is still running after 2 hours with engines running and not doing anything (as the first time) But this time only after those 2 hours I write this post. Still not CTD. I may think of several posibilities (with my totally ignorance in programming). It could be a memory leak.. but I don't see how the RAM memory goes down throught time. It stays going up and down but stable. Maybe CPU temperature because more hot these days with full CPU loading? Nope... In windows same computer doesn't CTD and in MAC right now it is more than 2 hours with a hot Mac already. 77ºC all time stable (but usually CTD because CPU temperature are (in windows) blue screens. Don't know in Mac how they are). So I may think that only changing lots of programs manipulation of them.. videos.. in parallel made the plane CTD.... I don't have Gizmo and none of the other plugins. But people says that without this still CTD happens. Maybe the only difference then is that I don't have the CRJ protection version of its plugin.. and that is one of the most important changes in 1.1 from 1.0 version....... well all of these are open thinkings I have... Lets hope Philipp soon gives us some light in this, and sorry for the problems you have with this CTD. I believe is one of the worst bugs someone can have, and I feel frustrated because of that.

For departure rwy, just type new icao airport and press the left function key to introduce again. All the data set after the old airport will be deleted. For destination just do the same but with destination airport in first flight plan page. Only star already selected will be deleted. For choosing other SID just press again the right function key of the runway already selected. Again all SIDs and runways will appear. For choosing other STAR you can input again the destination airport inside first flight plan page. Or pressing again the left function key of STAR. The way to selecting another aprox or transition for now is only selecting same STAR (deselecting it and selecting it again) and then it will give you options to select another aprox and transition. Never delete SIDs or STARs with @Del function.

Ok... well I don't know anything about how is programmed and why this CTD are happening. Seems that there is something inside 1.1 that is making this, because if you say that you had same with 1.0 and no problem then....... (well I would suggest you to go back to 1.0 until we find where is the problem).. Well... I am testing right now the CRJ with engines running. It is extrange to have a CTD with cold and dark because the plugin is loaded but I think it is not running.. so no memory leak. I was thinking about a memory leak.. but now the CRJ is loaded for almost 1 hour here, and I have even more memory from time to time.... so no memory leaks. Also was thinking about a CTD because CPU temperature.. but here is as always.. my dual core boh has 77ºC maximum.. and 96% workload. No problem for now (and I didn't have before). So... for me it only leaves me one thing that is making the CTD The XPUIPC, or the FSComander 9 or the VAs Flight Logger. you say that in 1.0 this didn't happen, so we have to look what was changed to modify this to worst (it is supposed updates are for fixing not making things worst... ) So the only thing for now until Philipp has something to say would suggest you to only fly the 1.1 without those plugins.. or fly the 1.0 version.

with engines running? I mean.. did you load the plane with engines running and left it without doing anything in the default view it gives you when opening the plane with engines running?

From what I know... (I am not programmer.. I know a little of C++) Philipp and Anton only used C++ for the programming of the CRJ. What I don't know if for the activation of the plane was used Gizmo. If you didn't put inside, then the installer did it.. and that was made by x-aviation so I think there is a reason because is inside. Don't know.... Cameron has to say something about this maybe. But I don't have the Gizmo plugin inside my x-plane copy. So maybe is a good test if you try without it. There was a correction for Gizmo in 1.1 but maybe there are more variables that are making CTD with Gizmo inside (who knows.. we cannot control what people has inside their computers. Only can help them to solve their compatibility problems with the CRJ) Thanks

Sorry if i mistake. But i think Gizmo is not necesary to run the CRJ. Dont know if with activation is necesary. But Philipp will try to find a solution for you.

Don't remember the right name. But inside root folder of xplane there is a folder called jrollonplanes or something. There is tye place where you have to substitute the folders that comes with the actualization Thanks

Yes. Your computer could be better. 2.4ghz is not good enoughtabout sid. You have to change it de selecting the one selected pressing the left function key next to the sid selected again. Don't press delete function inside dep arrivals page. Thanks

hi jode. I don't know how to read propertly the logs file, but it seems in yours you have lots of errors in scenary installed. Can you make the test in a default clean demo version of xplane? Even flying over water. I think the crashes are because memory and scenaries. A good way to test it doing what I said. But Philipp will know better.

don't know what to say you Nova.. If you have the fix point inside the navdata... you should be able to just input direct to the fms. I have no problems at all.. and others... I still believe is something inside your computer. Can you install in other computer?

I supose you have the 1.1 version. This is a know issue since 1.0 version. Inside 1.1 has been fixed a little. But not all. In case you don't have a good computer you still will notice shutters when you put LEGs page or HOLD page (is the same internally) So it is always better to choose other FMS page to fly, and only switch to LEGs (or HOLD) when needed. Even is not so necesary to fly everytime with the LEGs page, because all info is set in MFD also.

the times I tested it it worked for me... Save situation. But this won't save all internal datarefs CRJ has.. only position speed, altitude.. and direction flying... So you have to program (load the route can help) again the fms and capture again.

Damm.. sorry about that activation issue.. again..... well for sure Cameron will help you with this. For now.. lets wait what Philipp has to say about this.. because I have it working perfectly in all the 3 routes you all gave me. So maybe is a problem in install... don't know...... you know.. this is not easy. we test a lot here in our computers first. Several configurations.. but we have not all the posibilities all the people has around, so I hope you can understand it. thanks for your patience!

I or it didn't delete the plugins. OK.. better said: 1. did you deleted the plugins by your own by hand? 2. did you not deleted them (anything) before installing 1.1 so 1.1 supposed to delete 1.0 version but you found still data of 1.0 "behind" after 1.1 install?

mmmm Cameron I think is time to make again this: DON'T DELETE THE 1.0 FILES MANUALLY THE 1.1 INSTALLER WILL DO IT FOR YOU ;D ;D

what 1.0 plugins? CRJ? does the installer supposed to uninstall everything of 1.0 before installing 1.1 version? If it doesn't then we have a bug in the installer maybe. Or maybe I missunderstood.

No it don't have an autotrhottle... but it has TOGA (the real plane) that makes enter the plane in pitch and roll mode in take off. Well.. all those things I want to include in future releases. If we have time and energy to do them. As said before, not promise it. I know everyone has inside of ourself the desired plane. That is why I entered here making planes by my own, because others didn't make it the way I liked it. But once you get inside you see that make a 100% full simulated plane is almost imposible unless you have a great budget behind. So for now I would suggest those people asking for more that, enjoy what they have right now. Because they can be desperate waiting for something that maybe (or yes) would never come.

Ok thanks TOBS.. we will try in future to see what we can do. But our focus is not to solve this problem first, and I want you to notice this and be awared of this. If we first solve other compatibility problems that are more important than these you (only) have. But also it is more important for me to make more "rich" the plane in programming for example in a "failure system" (if we can do it) that solve the problem. Sooo I want you know very clearly that this problem you have may take long.. or even never corrected, because for us is not a must or necessary. I know that you will be totally disappointed with that but for now is just a question of number of people asking something, and we have to choose what is important to pay attention the time we have... so we cannot make all happy. And I think the hardware issue (not joystick for sure, or trackir. Those are important) you ask is a secondary for us. For us the most important stuff is to make the plane good flying as it is.. with a joystick and mouse or trackir and normal keyboard. And right now we are focusing in that, and I think we are success already in that. But still have to look for some compatibility issues and stuff Hope you understand it... but as I said.. if we have time (not promissed) we will take a look on this (not me, because I don't know programming). OF course in the future if we have more time and more relaxing work on the CRJ then we can open a threat about this.

maybe a false alarm.. because Gimp is well known program. Report to them or see inside their forums about it. But strange.. very strange it would have virus inside.
