The ding sound drives me nuts...
Japo32 replied to arb65912's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
There should be no ding-dong sound when applied the reversers. The ding-dong is for the bell to ring when there is a fire... but it also appears in the reply.. and I don't understand why is there in replies. -
The ding sound drives me nuts...
Japo32 replied to arb65912's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
What is annoying to me is that it reproduces the sound when it is in replay (not in normal flight unless you burn the engines).. but is a normal sound.. nothing of programming behind.. so I guess is a planemaker or xplane issue. -
I defined beta range in plane maker in this plane when your joystick is below a 0.02 ratio of a total of 1.0. That means to be almost iddle. If your joystick is not configured propertly.. it won't be never be in beta stage. You can notice you are in beta stage when you are on final good angle for descent.. and you just put the throttle to iddle.. All the thrust will be lost and the plane will sink to crash... so always is good to apply some kind of thrust on final.

Hello and thanks for the support buying the plane. Well.. this is the first thread I hear as you say... Seems that you make all correctly.. maybe the throttle (your joystick) is not calibrated correctly and it has a non iddle input. Maybe you saw the reply and it won't affect the dump effect. To test it just place the plane with engines running set flaps to 35º (full down lever) and go to position menu. raise the plane 10 or 20 feet and a little speed (something like 100knots) let it fall from outside and take a look. Below 40 knots it will turn back to 35º from dump. I don't see any problem right now.. is your plugin working correctly? does it start from cold and dark without problem?

incompatibility with Saitek Panels

I cannot answer that because dont have that hardware.... Lets wait someone. -
incompatibility with Saitek Panels
Japo32 replied to Belga's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
If you delete the plugins folder you delete the plane almost. You won't find any systems inside. Try putting the yoke radios menu to green to manage the radios on your saitek panel. -
Oh! That sounds promising, I have to test it for sure! Thanks!

Yes.. but the dataref that has to be seen is the rain one. This one: sim/weather/rain_percent. With dataref editor plugin. If that dataref is more than 0.0 then you will have rain even you see a blue sky.
-
If it is a bug in xplane, then it must be reported to be fixed...
-
Well to make appear the raindrops in the jetstream I use the rain dataref.. If the ratio is more than cero, then I make them appear... but only when the plane is below the rainy clouds.... If it is all clear around and it is raining (saw in the dataref) then there is some kind of bug in xplane I guess. Put as said Cavok condition.. and in the weather options make sure there is no rain selected at all... just for testing if it is right.

In the list that appears here: http://www.x-plane.es/xp_resources/indexlist/index search for the file you want... in this case LEVC_AKESOFT_febrero-2011.7z and open it with a program that unzip 7z files. (I think unrar can do it if you are in windows systems) I just tested if the file is online.. and it is working the download perfectly well.

Yes.. that seems to me to a driver issue. Better go back.
-
Inside the main controls menus you can map also any keystroke to any function inside xplane.
-
No.. all should be inside an Addendum - Changes.txt file inside the Manual folder.
-
Also remember to read the addendums because things changed in versions and new functions were added that don't reflect the 1.0 manual.
-
Adlerx.. did you read the full documentation of the plane included? If not please read.. lots of the questions are replied there I think. Thanks!
-
Yes.. as thougth the joystick made its issue to the autopilot. About the engine broken.. well can be the failure (mean time random failures) that is active or you overheated-overtorque it.. or other possible failures the plane can have. For sure a reading of the documents can safe you the day!
-
Don't understand how the autopilot goes off... Only would go off if there is an input in the controls (and the full flaps). Is it maybe that? that you have noise input in your controls maybe?

Hydraulic Pressure Warning Light, Stuck On.
Japo32 replied to Chuckfops's topic in ATG Javelin Support
Well.. as said, I received 2 more emails from this guy that menaced telling everyone in "all simulations forums" how bad is the product etc etc... I don't like the people that starts to flood emails or forums just because they are unsatisphiced with a product. Sent several emails complaining is not going to make a better reply from me. A simple email always has a reply.. and a solution after a time.. as it is demostrated the hydroulic issue is solved... but that was an issue that was not important to fly the plane. What I tried to say to this person is that he could continue flying with it don't waiting for the fix of it... but of course the fix would come. I think I had to say that last thing more clearly. Of course I didn't reply him after the 2 email menaces he made. It is not good to put in line what I said to him privatelly... but put all information. as said.. an smile do more than a menace. -
Some of the red things in the manual are done (please read the addendum). While the TCAS can be taken from IVAO ( I think xplane had at last a TCAS screen in XIVAP program) and weather is what we have. Constant range but I think 40nm is enough to avoid an Storm.

Yes.... well.. it is open a posibility to make a 2.0 CRJ addom. The CRJ200 it is "over" (things are not white or black) like it is. Of course as said by Cameron fixing for xplane10 bugs continues.

Hydraulic Pressure Warning Light, Stuck On.
Japo32 replied to Chuckfops's topic in ATG Javelin Support
An update of the plane is sent to x-aviation, but if you want to do it by yourself, open the plane in planemaker xplane10. Go to systems and general2 tab. In hydraulic Sources left pannel click the two electric hydraulic pumps system A/B and the 4 engine-driven hydraulic pump system A/B. Leave the max pressure as it is. That will make your failure hydraulic system disappear. As said no hydraulics are needed for control surfaces because are wired ones. -
Hydraulic Pressure Warning Light, Stuck On.
Japo32 replied to Chuckfops's topic in ATG Javelin Support
Yes.. when I have a little of time I will see this issue. Right now I cannot because fully working for Laminar like hell. But will take a look in future. But as said.. this light wouldn't affect at all the normal operations with the Javelin. The Javelin has no switch to turn on/off the hydraulics, they are automatically on. -
Yes... is you have only one throttle axis, you have to set the axis as "throttle" not "throttle1 or 2 or other single throttle" that way with the single axis you control both engines.

[RFE] Warning to change aircraft before X-plane quit
Japo32 replied to ansorgj's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
Yes... if you follow the checklists that I supply in the documentation you won't have any problem at all. Consider the joystick "issue" as a part of the plane to be followed correctly.
