  1. Yes.. there is some "obscure" reason to not let people manage the props with joystick.. but as said.. there is no need to change them in flight. From taxi to flight is easy to do with the mouse.. and it is only once to do. Or two times when you land again.
  2. To manage radios with hardware you have to press the new menu Radio hardware in the yoke, that way you will be able to change the frequencies. Other thing is that the saitek is not well configured. If you cannot swap the freq, try putting the command to change it in a joystick button just to test (of course with Radio-Hardware menu in on. About the ArtHorizont.. Pilot and copilot are separated. Even the middle one is different. They are driven by different datarefs. PIlot and copilot.
  3. Hi! Yes.. I noticed the problem with the right wiper. I don't know what is happening there, but in some computers is going well and in others not. Even same OS. About the fast-slow. both vipers will catch the speed of the fastest one. If for example the left is slow and we turn the right fast, then the left will become fast, and opposite. That is because there is only 1 animation dataref for both sides, so the animation is set by the fastest one.
  4. Did you turn the DME unit on? To just know if you tuned correctly.
  5. fast reply Cessna729
  6. 5minutes continously breaks the RPM.. you could be 4:something then relax.. then inmediatelly again another 4:something But that is risky. I think the only moment that is recomended to overpass the limit is when you have a problem... but always less than 5 minutes.
  7. yes.. even you think the engine is not over the RPM limit maybe it is. That is why I put the Light advisory. And usually it lights before the right engine, so all matches to me. During cruise, don't let any light illuminate for more than 5 minutes near the rpm gauges, or you will have your engine broken.
  8. well for now I won't make any more liveries, but users have the templates so you all can "play" with it to make any livery you want.
  9. Andy.. could you try not only to unplug and plug the joystick in same usb port, but change to other usb port? What it was done to solution it was to unplug all the usb port and plug them again, but I think if you plug the joystick to a different usb port, then you would have different position assignations so you can solve the problem. The thing is a few user (for now I found you and woweezowee) had this problem, but the most of all users don't have it. Looked into the code and didn't see anything specially bad.
  10. how did you change positions? never investigated about that, but saw how xplane assigned different positions in different computers.
  11. Yes.. when I have a moment I will send them to you.
  12. Need the crash-log.txt also I think.
  13. The CRJ200.. but I don't like too much the fx I did.
  14. Yes.. now not only you have to keep the torque or EGT below limits.. but also the RPM. More fun!
  15. but if you loose a engine you can never re-start it again. It is not the same the engine to be stopped than broken.
  16. mmmmm be careful with the new break of engines.. they just stop not burn. If you reset the failures then what you are making is more or less cheat. (but to save a life that is good!) Also ice.. be careful with ice. I don't know how xplane it self control the engines with icing conditions. To start engines. Switch to Air and the rest like the ground part.
  17. A good video to explain better. Thanks Cessna729!!:
  18. Great video! Well. I have to add that is not necesary to unlock controls to change other aircraft. Just load other aircraft and all the axis will come back. Even if you don't have mapped the mixture or Propeller axis... or you don't mind loosing them, you can exit from the Jetstream directly IF YOU LEAVE THE GUST LOCK in the down position before exit. And now you can asign axis inside the jetstream with the new joystick menu on the yoke. Going to copy that video link!!! Thanks!
  19. Didn't change anything from 1.01... so...
  20. Kerbaugh, are you trying to assign the axis without the green-joysitck menu? You cannot. You have to turn the green joystick menu. This is the way to do it: 1. show the menu of the yoke 2. click over the Joystick Assign icon to turn it green 3. go to settings / Joystick and equipment and make you assignations 4. You should be able to move them but you maybe could find stutter problems. Click over the Joystick assign icon again to turn it to amber. You should be able to move now any asigned axis, but not the prop or mixture. If you cannot please click over the Power label next-left to the throttles to see if it moves now or not (it should not, but who knows). I thought that maybe the first axis is the problematic so in programming I miss something but I tried to assign that axis, that in my configuration is set to the pedals and is working perfectly. AHHHHHH!!! MAYBE I REMEMBER WHAT I DID TO SOLVE THE DOUBLE INPUT. Now remembering I have 2 joystick connected. The pedals and the joystick. Go to settings / Joystick and Calibrate Joystick hardware.. and move all your axis in all its extension. and asign values again. Then when centered, click over "use this position as CENTER. As said.. I cannot reproduce it. Maybe you all have other hardware connected? Because 1.03 allows that hardware to interact with the plane.. maybe is also doing something. To new people comming to Jetstream. Please read manual to know how the plane works with Joystick axis.
  21. ahh but the throttle is working for you!! ah ah!! thought you have the same problem. Woweezowee, even if he assign the throttle again he cannot manage. Yes.. if you don't remember you can loose the assignations. But now in 1.03 it is good that if for example you prepare the cockpit (20minutes) and going to taxi.. and unlock and don't have teh axis.. now you don't have to load other airplane and blame in me and my family. Now you can assign them inside, hot.
