Yes, like I mentioned before, the v2 will be payware. But there's a long long way until then and will do small fixes and updates to the current free version as well. But bigger new features - like those above - are going to be in v2 only
-
Yes, that's the plan, to have a fully functional study level aircraft to the last switch... ;-) You'll see what's done and what's next when I'm finished with one feature, I'll keep you updated :-) but for now I'll make a small exception and give you some wip image ;-)

Spent almost the whole day re-writing the engine model from JS to Lua (http://x-plane.hu/temp/L410/model/ - you can play with the black and green handles to see the result) It was fun !@#%$$ Almost there, numbers are matching, there's a small bug where the calculation goes wrong, but I'll leave it now and focusing on the startup sequence. Also, engine probably catches fire if you intro fuel too early or being at max TRQ for more than 5-8 mins (weather, speed, etc dependent) And one which I really like: pitot overheating - don't forget to turn them off on approach or turn on too early while taxiing, you'll burn and no IAS meter anymore...

Hi, Try adjusting your joystick settings in Settings/Joystick&Equipment -> pull the handles to have a non-linear pitch and roll controls. I had to set it around half way to use with CH Cessna yoke and full right for MS FFB2 joystick. Hope this helps a bit

I'm happy to announce the release of v1.0 of the Let L-410 for X-Plane 10.45+ with 3D cockpit. After nearly 6 years of bumpy development and a long beta testing phase, the Let L-410 is here. This is the point where I say "stop" for v1.0. You never really can finish a plane. Still, there are awful lots of things to do. But let's leave those for v2.0 You can download the plane from http://x-plane.hu/L-410/ FEATURES: Detailed 3D cockpit Built-in Garmin GPS Realistic engine and flight model (~95% matching real data) Instrument and cockpit lighting Yoke can be hidden Basic anti and de-ice system Custom engine sounds Custom engine startup Checklist for XCheclist All basic instruments are working, you can either fly RNAV with Garmin or NON-RNAV (VOR2VOR) flights with the NAV instruments. Bugfixes, of course, will come after release, so I'll keep updating this version. PROMO VIDEO https://youtu.be/ZEpOkoPd9t8 TUTORIAL FLIGHT https://youtu.be/XihlwN_t610 THANKS I’d like to thank all the support and feedback I got from various people while developing this plane. The project took a long time to finish - with breaks - but it worth every minute. I’d like to thank Imre Kurucz, Attila Kotan, and Tibor Kokai for the images, videos and the support they gave since the beginning. There are a lot more people who gave inspiration and encouragement to finish the Let L-410, cannot name them specifically, but sometimes their word gave me the last push. Big thanks to the beta testing team: Tamas Eibel, Karoly Molnar, Lars N. and Gyorgy Buki CONTACT Follow the further development at http://bit.ly/1VUCwvj You can post your feedback here at the forum, or send me an email to mihaly.alberti [at] x-plane.hu Twitter: @xplanehu

Until the release, please enjoy

Just a quick update: today I'm going to finish the last bug for v1.0 Not sure how long will it take to create a proper manual, but hope it won't take too long... Will see.

In the middle of bug fixing I had to spend a little time repainting OK-UBA with citywing livery

Release 1.0 is closing... This is the point where I say "stop" for v1.0. You never really can finish a plane. Still, there are awful lots of things to do. But let's leave those for v2.0 So what we have so far: Quite realistic engine and flight model (~95% matching real data) Instrument lighting Yoke can be hidden Basic anti and de-ice system Custom engine sounds Custom engine startup Checklist for XCheclist Wunderbaum and many more which is up to you to find out All basic instruments are working, you can either fly RNAV with Garmin or NON-RNAV (VOR2VOR) flights with the NAV instruments. Did several flights on IVAO lately to check out if I missed something, but seems like all are there. Of course, I'll keep working on this beauty Despite I put a lots of effort to this plane, v1.0 will remain freeware. That's not going to change. Ever. Bugfixes of course will come after release, so I'll keep updating this version. But in the meantime I start working on v2.0 which going to be payware. But that's really the far-ish future, so I don't want to get ahead of myself yet. Here are the latest shots, hope you like it.

3 things makes a realistic cockpit: details, details, details
-
That's the other one I meant the frames for the instruments. You don't really notice if you don't know what to look for, it's just increases the realism
-
Let's call this day "Devil in the details" day Did you spot the difference?
-
Thanks Yep, 3D cockpit is on the way, hopefully sooner than later

Thank you A quick status: The plane finally getting into the state where all the functionality are there for a proper flight on any network and for any procedure. Now, I have to finish the remaining texturing - mostly on the side panels and add some UX features (hiding yokes, manipulators for gear and flaps handle, etc) So, overall it's really getting into a shape where it's really a fun to fly Sadly the next couple of weeks will be busy, so can't really work what I've planned. Hope it's not going to last too long and I can get back to business ASAP. A long delayed UV mapping for the Garmin and the WX radar - finally finished

As a developer I really appreciate the effort you guys put into this plane. I did my "degree" on A/T, MCP and Y/D of the 737 and programming only the A/T functionality even using the manual, it's just... whoa... As a customer you don't really see what's happening behind the scenes, what (unexpected) obstacles come into the way, how fast you can solve it - if you even can at all It's frustrating, not just for us as customers, but I'm pretty sure it's frustrating for you as the developers. It's like an escape game or a maze. You see the target, you know on a really high-level how you gonna get out, but you have no idea HOW you gonna execute it. You keep trying figure out every small step - to get together as an ultimate solution for the escape

Back to business - started to set up 7-segment LED displays

This is simply awesome. best product ever coming to X-Plane Wish I have the same resources/time spend on L-410... This release delays L-410 release
