  1. Erm, dunno... just having fun Here is a handle-forest for today
  2. Back to modeling again. Hope I can work now on this continuously, and done the cabin modeling in few weeks.
  3. Slow, but progress

  5. Phew, I'm writing my own prop governor and fuel controller, including IELU (a simplest FADEC) Thank you!
  6. Tom! Can you please explain it to us, developers, a little bit more "behind the scenes" about the throttle issue? Is this only a throttle animation related problem, or x-plane can't handle throttle override very well? I'm asking because I'm working on a custom engine model too and a voice in my mind says: "This can be a huuuge suck if Tom have to make workarounds...." Thanks!

  8. Back to the world of 3D
  9. Has anyone sent a bugfix/request to Austin, including link to this topic?
  10. ...and the clouds totally different looking from top or bottom. From bottom itt looks like a cirrus-stratus mix. From top, they look like cumulus. Wish they put the 3 slider back to rendering settings.
  11. I'm missing those sliders too. BTW now my FPS doesn't drop more than 5 FPS even if I max out the slider.

  13. Thanks, works now. I'm using X-Plane from another partition than the system (D:\X-Plane9). Copied to "Program Files (x86)", and voila: before ~40 fps, after: ~50 fps = 25% improvement. Tried on different sceneries with different render settings and the performance is about 20-25% better when xplane in "Program Files (x86)" folder. Thanks for this info!
  14. As promised before, here is the video about the engine-model workbench (See video description for what-what) So, the ITT data is ready, now moving on to nG, TRQ, fuel cunsuption and all other
  15. After tweaking over almost the whole weekend, here are the result: perfectly match on graph
  16. Yesterday evening set up my workflow and testing environment for the engine model and entered values from manuals. I worked a few hours ago, still blind to the real values. Just used numbers from paper graph. I was curious so I take a shot from the graph and placed behind my calculated graph. The red lines are my model's graph, the black lines are the real data. Not bad for first time. Now begins the tweaking to match the real-word data
  17. Just blogging. In past few days, I got back to highschool math. Bezier curves, integral and differential equtations, studied all the available maintenance and operation manuals. One thing I can say: this engine model will be kick-ass Everything will work like in the real plane. In few days - maybe a week - I'll bring a demo how the engine starting sequence (temperatures, rpm's) looks like.
  18. So, if I'm guessing right, this means there will be more than 3 dynamic lights for cockpit in xp10?
  19. Thanks In meantime, it's released: http://x-plane.hu/iasi/ Hope you like it Have fun!
  20. Finished with the night textures. Release in few hours
  21. Hello guys! Just between two graphs and calculations for the L-410 as a rest, I've started to make Iasi airport, where the HA-LAR crashed on 27th JAN 2005. Some little things needs to cleaned up, but it's ready. It was a really fun to make something different, and before this I can't imagine how easy to make scenery in xplane. This was made in 5(!) hours of non-stop work. Gee, I still can't belive it Used OpenSceneryX and R2 Library for the objects, nothing custom. Release: tomorrow (23. nov 2011)
  22. I planned to buy CRJ this week. It was nearly failed
