I think I found the problem. I moved the throttle slightly forward and the gen fail message disappeared. The prop was spinning, but I may have been close to or in Beta range.

I'm doing a cold and dark start and when I get to the point in the start engine procedure where it says verify standy for the generator and click on gen I get a gen failed message. The startup procedure seems pretty straight forward but I can't figure out how to fix this.

I am attempting to uninstall Skymaxx Pro 5.1 and RWC 1.2. in X Plane 11.55. I went into the X Aviation folder in X plane and found the uninstall app. I launched it and got a message that the uninstalls were successful. When I went back and launched X plane they both still appeared in Plugins. I tried again and got the same result. Please advise.

I'm having fun flying this plane but I have run into a minor glitch. At the beginning of every flight the Master caution and caution light are both on and I can hear the tone. I click on them and they go off and everything is fine for the rest of the flight. Also I am not seeing any messages on the annunciator. I'm not even sure where it is. I have seen a message on the Garmin when the inertial seperator is engaged but that is the only message I have seen.

I just bought Pocket Rocket and I use Simbrief. I'm trying to figure out what to use as an airframe type. Creating a custom airframe looks a little daunting since I don't even know which airframe type to start with. That was part of the initial problem. Does anyone have any info on this ?

Will this plane have Navigraph support ?

I have been playing around with some settings and it appears that Vulkan may have been the problem. I turned it off and flew for about 15 minutes in heavy clouds with no problems. I'll report back if anything changes. Udate: I just installed Skymaxx Pro 5.0. I turned Vulkan back on and got no flashing. Problem seems resolved.

I set cloud shadows, cloud reflections, lens flare, terrain blend, crepuscular rays all to 0.

I am currently running Sky Maxx Pro 4.9 and Real Wx Connector 1.2 with Active Sky for X plane. I have run into a very odd problem. I am getting flashes in the cockpit view when flying through heavy clouds. I have not seen this occur in any external view. When I turn off SMP the problem stops. I tried turning down the cloud draw distance and turning off all non essential feature such as terrain blending etc but that did not help. I also tried turning off ASXP and using default wx. I do not see this problem except with heavy cloud cover. In benign conditions things look ok. I have no idea what this is.

Back in business. I simply forgot to change my pre flight settings after I reinstalled.

I just had to reinstall the IXEG 300. However, now the engines are not running when I try and do a hot start. I also noticed that the the low oil pressure light was on. Edit: I just tried to start the plane in a cold & dark state. It looked the same as it did when I tried to do a hot start. I had lights, and screens were lit.

I am interested in the TBM 900. Are the maintenance and failure engines always on or can they be turned off if desired. Also is Navigraph support provided ? Finally is a start with engines running possible ?
