Hi all, on my last flight I had a real challenge to climp for 7000 ft (airplane was loaded by 80%). Finally I ended up with a very low climb rate and the airplane didn't "felt good" (high angle) and speed cruise speed was very low (2700 rpm --> about 100 knots). The wind was very calm (haven't noted the values, but nothing worse, just a few knots). I decided to familiar myself with the performance sheet, but I cannot get trough it. Questions: - Why is density altitude increased by decreased power? e.g. Power 75 %, 2400 rpm --> max density altitude 8000; Power 59 %, 2000 rpm max density altitude 14000 - Is the shown density altitude (after calculation) the max. possible altitude I can reach in the flight? Hi all, I need your support in terms of NDB Navigation. My expectation was: I enter the frequency in the KR87 ADF, set it active and the needle on the left down gauge will move. But nothing happend. Did I oversee an important step? Kind regards Itchy2

Hi, I'm working through the checklists and trying to understand / identify everything. Can somebody support me in finding the indicator for OAT? In the upper left clima panel there is the switch for "cabin heat" right? Where can I find the pilot heat? Many thanks and kind regards Itchy2

Hi all, I have this lovely bird am I'm very happy. Was really worth spending my money on the BN2. I have a question regarding the start up procedure and the magnetos. I start with the right engine. In the checklist is stated: turn left magneto on. So is this magneto 1 on right engine? Or what is meant by that? Thx and kr Itchy2

Happy to read this read. I also flooded my engines. Is there a chance to get the fuel out of them if it happens or do I need to restart my flight? Thanks and kind regards Itchy2 -
Hi, I'm looking for a kind of load manger. Haven't found anything in the aircraft itself. Discovered igo in web but I don't have an apple device. Is there anything available what I can use for load planning and refueling? At the moment I'm using the XPlane menu but I cannot check cog etc. Thx and KR Itchy

Hi N1K, thanks for your feedback. Today I did another round, enjoying this wonderful plane and testing your tips. I noticed some "strange" behaviours. 1. When I turn off the Autopilot the alarm / info sound rings all the time (it repeats after a few secons). Pressing the master caution or warning button is not changing anything (and it's not flashing before). 2. I tried to fly VOR with a course but the autopilot is only following heading or GPS (even if I changed the selector knob to VOR). 3. In the menu (Charts.pdf) on page 52 (all engines service ceiling): I would interpret it as follows: with 27.000 lb weigt I can reach FL 310 having temp. of -20 °C, is that correct? I'm asking because it was "hard" to climb at FL230 with 25000 lb weight. I think I'm reading the table "wrong". Can you support. KR Itchy2

Hi all, I bought the LES on the last sale and I'm very happy with the plane. Reason for buying it was, that the Airbus becomes boring sometimes. It's my first turboprob on X-Plane. The last experiences were long long time ago in FSX. A few questions occured after the first flights. Maybe you can help me: I tried to assign the parking break to a joystick key but I wasn't able to find it in the assignment list. How is the name of the parking break? Toggle Breaks max is not working. Any recommendations for a very good tutorial flight on youtube? I'm not looking for a 30 minutes hop. I want some explanations in the video. But there are many different variants of usage and I don't know what is right or wrong. Is there a way to change the outside air preassure for the altimeters from "in" to "hPa"? Still haven't understood the "max" function of the condition levers? What happens if I move the cond. levers full forward? How do I handle the thrust and cond. levers on climb, in flight, descent? is everything adjusted via the thrust levers? I don't think so. When to move which lever? Looking forward for your response.
