  1. My log shows the same fmod errors as yours, yet my sounds are perfect.
  2. Awesome. I'm looking forward to climbing back into the left seat of the Moo in 12.
  3. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is just what I needed. I'd seen Reflected Reality do something similar in one of his videos and I asked him how I could do it. He responded but I could never figure it out. This addon solves a problem. I hope you'll continue to add features to it. One additional thought. Once the MU-2 is upgraded for XP12, it too, could benefit from this (or a similar) addon.
  4. I suspect this is on the LR's roadmap: Rework lightning
  5. Set Failures on a Per-Aircraft Basis, Native AviTab Integration (every aircraft ought to have an AviTab computer that mounts in the cockpit - more of a Dev request); and, Better Navigraph Charts Integration
  6. Laminar Research's feedback system is, and has been, offline for sometime. That doesn't mean they don't want community feedback. What features would you like to see in X-Plane 12? To make this thread convenient for Laminar Research (and 3rd party devs) to parse, I'd suggest refraining from comments, unless it clarifies a request. Also, please limit your request to 2 or 3 per post. Add additional request in subsequent post. Bullets are good. Finally, the "Like" (upvote/downvote) system could really be helpful. Let's see where this goes.
  7. The folks on these forums are some of the smartest people in flight simulation, IMO. As I understand it, XP12 uses real-world weather, pretty much in real time, right? Why does the in-sim ATIS reports often differ from metar reports from real-world sources?
  8. @spokentee This video might give you an idea of what is involved with getting the TBM900 XP12 ready. Personally, I think it is less messy, and more easy to comprehend, watching my Jimmy Dean sausage getting made.
  9. You have to place your request in Hotstart's discord channel. Hope this helps.
  10. Thanks for the translation. Phillip's response sounds ambiguous. I'm not sure if he is saying not for X-Plane on the version 12 platform or, perhaps down the road like in version 12.6. My guess is that he means in differ versioning number (i.e. XP12S (where S denotes streaming) or XP13. Either way, it's something to look forward to. Although it has no value, I enjoy glancing into what might be coming.
  11. Although Austin Meyers, lead developer of X-Plane, down-played this bit of news by saying it's a low priority, it's big news in my opinion. He said Laminar Research is looking into streaming scenery. He did not provide any details so we don't know what this may looks like but this is a reversal of earlier comments by Meyers. The comment was made in and adhoc video published a few weeks ago. I don't expect to see this feature anytime soon.
  12. I know waiting is hard. I feel ya. Checkout this forum thread for a discussion on why it's taking so long.
  13. Danklaue, lead developer from Thranda, wrote a short blurb on why, in their case, releasing X-plane 12 updates has been a slow process. (I've copied and pasted the blurb for those of you who don't want to go off site). His response was to a comment asking how much longer would it be before XP12 aircraft starts to appear
  14. I have 5 of Aerobask's aircraft and a ton of XP11 aircraft, so I know how you feel. I'd love to have them be supported on XP12 NOW. Conversely, I hate CTDs and having to chase down errant addons. I imagine devs hate having to constantly debug addons because the sim changed. I'm willing to wait for solid products. Aerobask uses Skunkcraft's updater to push updates (I wish more devs would). I want to say that most of the GA aircraft Aerobask creates don't go too deep into systems depth, but I won't cause I am clueless how much work really goes into developing aircraft. I believe that the Aerobask Diamond FADEC systems simplifies some programming, but again I don't really know. What I can says, is that I'm super impressed with TOGA's MU-2 and Hot Start's CL650. These look pretty complex to me. I also have a few aircraft by Thranda. Thranda, as well as most devs, has chosen to wait, for the most part. I guess @Ben Russell summed it up in a word: Wisdom. In the end, we'll get the awesome aircraft we crave. To Laminar Research: chop chop.
  15. I'll see what I can do as time allow. Thanks!
  16. It is referring to the toggle mentioned. See:
  17. This is so minute that it's hardly worth mentioning but when I flip the (pressurization) MAN ALT toggle up, it goes down and vise versa. Perhaps this has already been noted for a future update.
  18. Laminar Research Citation X (C750) Checklist (latest version): Citation X checklist-v2.03.pdf Note: This checklist is not compatible with Xchecklist plugin
  19. Agreed. I don't think anything comes close to the depth and fidelity for simulation, including the PMDG airliner in Goliath's sim.
  20. Here is a checklist for the Laminar Research default Cessna Citation X for X-Plane 12 If link above doesn't work try here: https://ewhitecap.com/files/Citation X checklist-v2.03.pdf <== This is the latest checklist for the Citation X C750. Citation X checklist-v2.02.pdf
  21. From what I can ascertain, they are updating the SDK's periodically. They did have an SDK available when XP12 was released, however, it has been updated since. I suspect it'll see a few more iterations to stay current.
  22. Until Simbrief adds the MU2 Marquise, what alternative aircraft would be recommended? I know that no other is going to be perfect but perhaps you all know which aircraft have the closest perf data. Thanks,
  23. @-VETTE Your thinking is perfectly clear and perhaps I was the one a touch confused. Thanks.
