New version of the dynamic checklist: v1.1 Changes and fix are on the dowload page. -
Hello Coop I just purchased your Mooney M20r in version "M20_Collection_v4.0_PB5". Question: is your FMOD patch already included in this v4.0_PB5 version ? Your Mooney M20r is very pleasant to use

I think there is a real need to address to the TorqueSim team: - easier engine starting - a castor option in the window option for the front landing gear (for those who don't have rudder pedals with toe brakes, it's a real nightmare... and even for those who have rudder pedals with toe brakes below 15-20 kts)

In my procédure, the fuel pump is on "boost" position before start the engine. If you have a big problem to start the engine, you can execute the "reset" command in the X-Plane plugins menu (where there is the "prime" function). This makes a total reset of all the engine parameters (to be done only on the ground).
-
For a fast and safe start when using the checklist, do not use the "prime" function with the fuel pump switch in the aircraft, but use instead only the "Prime" sub-menu of the X-Plane plugins menu. So: - Fuel pump: OFF - Mixture: Full Rich - Throttle: full forward - Fuel pump: Prime only with the plugin menu, just once (do not use the Prime switch on the pedestral). It's not realistic to go through the plugin menu, but it works every time. - Fuel pump: boost - Trottle: 1/4" (no more) - Start the engine... By proceeding in this way, the engine starts quickly.

Hello After the dynamic checklist for the SR22 TN, I propose the dynamic checklist for the SR22: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/65514-checklist-clisttxt-for-the-cirrus-sr22-by-torquesim/ Enjoy

Hello The scale setting of the stand by altimeter must be adjusted on the SR22TN (I guess it is also the case with the SR22 version, I did not check) :

Hello, On the MFD, the "View" button for the flight plan does not work. But after toggling the view with 2 PFDs (red button between PFD and MFD), then return to PFD and MFD configuration, the "view" button works correctly.

Hello A dynamic checklist for the Cirrus SR22 TN is available here: (to be used with the Xchecklist plugin from Sparker) https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/65372-checklist-clisttxt-for-the-cirrus-sr22-tn-by-torquesim/ -
To control the aircraft more easily with the toe brakes, a little engine power should be used to tow the aircraft forward. If the engine is at idle, it is very difficult to steer the plane with the toe brakes. To adjust the sensitivity curves, you use the normal X-Plane interface for joystick control:

X-Plane plugins sub-menus "Continental TNIO-550-N"
Goofy replied to Goofy's topic in G1000 SR22 Series
Thank you for this answer I guess if I use the "prime" function in this sub-menu, I must not use the Prime with the switch in the cockpit of the SR22 , only the boost. -
Hello In the X-Plane's plugins menu, there is a sub-menu "Continental TNIO-550-N" (for SR22TN) and "Continental IO-550-N" for SR22. These two sub-menus include the "Log Event", "Reset" and "Prime" functionalities. What is the use of these three functionalities ?
-
I also use the curves for the toe brakes. It's better, but the functioning is still aggressive.

Hello It would be nice if there was a "castor/free castor" option for the front gear in the aircarft options windows. In the real life, it's easy to steer a plane with a free castor front gear. However in X-Plane the wheel brakes management is difficult to use, even with a rudder pedals having toe brakes. They react practically as on or off. It's very difficult to steer on the grouns at low speed. It's more difficult if there's a crosswind. A free castor option would be a good idea.
