Differences , might be some tiny ones , I did not dig into that yet, cant change the model anyways. This paint to me much longer than I expected , tha paint is simple, getting it on the plane sucks. I do not have the C337.

Thanks for your positive response guys. Doing this on a C150? I really have no idea. Not having the actual model makes it impossible anyway. Besides that this can only be done with a model wich has its engine and the inside of the engine-housing created by its own engine.obj file. I am afraid not many models will have these features. This one has and I grabbed the opportunity and did something I never saw before in the sim-scene. To make this I need the help of the initial maker of the model. (I really hope he reads this.) Sweet dreams, nevertheless fun to make a picture like this. (for the album)

For those who want to do an engine-testrun and look for oil-leaks. OR just want to admire the extreme well modeled 3D engine of this model. This "In-maintenance-livery" will be included in the livery-package too.

Again some steps further. Added some more detail to the exterior normals. Introduced normals to the interior,after giving the interior other colors (likewise I did on my LED DC3 paints) Its fun to see what a man with brushes can do.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of an XP10 version. For the texturset its all the same , I am using the XP10 version now. The lights on the XP9 version look better I think. (not all changes are improvements)

Not long ago XPFR published the Caudron type Simoun (hot desert wind) for XP 9 (works swell in XP10 as well) Great model for the ones who love flying history. Adding some gloss , normals ( just starting more to follow) and making a paint in high resulution (4046x4096) was a great start of my Christmas-holidays. Still a lot to do, far from finished yet , just giving a peep.

Ohooh. This is real Top Class.

Not long ago LES provided us with a new version of their Beechcraft Duchess. I could not withstand the temptation on laying my hands on the "Lady" Giving the bird high-res-textures and normalmapping including speculars.................I think its kinda "rebirth" This plane is still a "must-have" for the serious X-Plane-GA-Pilots .

Some days ago I got the Corvalis as kinda birthday-present ( be assured ,it was strictly legal ) and I was very pleased having this bird in my X-Plane collection , I really love it. Its very unlikely I`ll find my way in the extremely sophisticated instruments/panel of this plane. Its not to blame the plane , nor its great manual. Its just me , I am just a painter, I am not a pilot. Being a painter , I was quiet disapponted to see this plane having about fourty excellent default-liveries. Adding another nice one would be , bringing water to the oceans. Nevertheless I could not withstand the temptation of adding something I was missing. Some more gloss and adding normalmapping to the model enhanches its appearance in a great way. Thats all I did. How to install: Just place the files from this upload in the Corvalis main Objects folder. Please make a backup from the C400_2.obj file in the main Objects folder first.
