  1. Happy new year dear developers! When using the RTO mode of the autobrake system in version 1.5.2 and performing a rejected take-off my parking brake gets applied to simulate the RTO function. However, after the rejected take off the parking brake kicks in every time I cut back the throttles to idle which makes it hard to reach the gate for my tire inspection. Furthermore the RTO mode does not activate when A/C is on GND, average wheel speed is more than 88 knots and the throttles get retarded to FWD idle. These are the conditions my real world training manual as mechanic tells me. I have to use max reverse within a 1sec time period (from take-off power) in addition to the conditions just mentioned to activate the RTO mode. And even then the RTO function might fail from time to time (see my 2nd attempt in the video below). Am I missing something? I've tried to record it. At take-off rejection above 90 knots I retarded both throttles to FWD idle. Nothing happened on the autobrake system. After 2 secs I deployed the thrust reversers and still the RTO function is not armed. After full stop you can see some trouble shooting with the system. On the 2nd attempt RTO stilll doen't activate at 120 knots GND speed and instantly going to max reverse. I applied manual brakes a couple of seconds later to save some of the light poles. Should you discover the mistake between my ears and not in your system modelling feel free to let me know. ;-) Couldn't find anything in the known bugs section or another thread related to this topic. Log file is attached below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37ODVzFEAW8 Best regards, Stephan Log.txt
  2. Is it possible to program a key command to set the landing gear lever to its center off position? I'd be fine if the regular key command "g" can trigger 3 positions (down -> up -> off -> down etc.). The "Landing Gear Off" key assignment in xplane doesn't do anything for me in the IXEG 737 and it's kind of flimsy to place the lever in off with the mouse.
  3. Several light problems and the issue with the engine start are already listet in the known bugs section and being worked on: https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/forum/206-ixeg-confirmed/ https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/27266-take-command-ixeg-737-classic-plus-v151-update-released/ However I can confirm the taxi light bleeding through the galley floor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un6iYNx1cYw&ab_channel=Stephan
  4. Hi Jan, My assignments (keyboard + joystick) look just like yours. I removed the NAV 1 and NAV 2 flip standby assignments that are also visible on your screenshot. No change. My system behaviour equals the one okernel described above. Also tried to switch between panel states. Same result.
  5. The problem described in this thread is linked to these two as well: https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/27198-another-crash-in-exterior-view/ https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/27269-crash-after-audio-freeze/ I was recommended to write to Laminar Research as well. I didn't do this because I was quite secure at my anticipation that LR would react as it happened to Nima. Their planes work. If addons don't work it seems to be worth not more than shrugging their shoulders. It's basically the same behaviour as with Microsoft and Asobo. And that's why I don't trust their announcement that all addons will work with MSFS2024. I feel that developers like IXEG - as the current example - and inibuild are being left alone. (I just mention the latter as there are sound problems on their product as well.) It's up to them to make their products work in the new sim. The sims publishers make promises that 3rd party addon developers have to keep. Without professional addons the sim itself won't attract the pro users. And pro users spend the big money on this software. Unless they're getting fooled. I recently moved away from MSFS back to XP. It was a pure coincidence that I found out about the release of the IXEG 737 for XP12. Same goes for the Beta (!) version of the inibuild A300. Which brings me to the last frustrating point: In flight simulation and the gaming industry in general it has become best practise to relase sth. as beta version because publishers don't have to deliver a fully functional product then. They claim to sell these software products for a cheaper price. To me it seems like the crossed out prices and reductions in big furniture stores or at car salers. "Invent" a high price, cross it in red and claim to sell it for cheap. I kind of feel sorry for the 3rd party addon developers who do a great job in enriching the sim with their IRL experience. Maybe the big and/or successfull players like IXEG, inibuild, PMDG, ORBX, etc. can schedule a meeting / call with the publishers. All of them are loosing money if the sim and the addons don't sell because the initial program (the sim) doesn't work. MSFS for example has the in-sim market place where they earn coimmision on purchases. I won't buy addons for a sim that doesn't work and therefore MS/Asobo themselves are loosing money when 3rd party addons don't sell. It's like buying a car without having a driver's license. And there seems to be a mojor problem with the sound engine in XP12. FMOD here, FMOD there. I have no clue about this stuff but read that there is a new FMOD studio version and that sound files / sound sets created with the old studio software have to be converted. I'm pretty sure IXEG knows about this well better than I do but just in case: https://developer.x-plane.com/article/using-fmod-with-x-plane/ Since end users are not getting listened to by LR, MS/Asobo my hope lies at the addon developers. Maybe they get heared from the big ones. It would save quite some frustration that comes up when being send around between the addon developer, the sales platform and the sim's publisher. I'm just a small, private, person and I don't have the impression, that LR would like to chit chat with me. Let's hope the sound CTD issue and the too fast engine start problem get solved in the near future because other than that the IXEG 737 is a great plane and brings back memories when I used to work on these planes in Frankfurt. All the best to the IXEG team and thanks for your everlasting customer cooperation.
  6. Hi Jan, please find attahced pics taken according to your instructions: 1st load after dialing in 115.00 on NAV 1 and NAV2 (and VHF 1, STBY1, 2 and STBY2 on sth. different then 118.00MHz). 2nd load after XP12 restart. "Start with running engines" was always enabled in the sim's aircraft selection menu. Logs attached to this post. Log_ATC.txt Log.txt
  7. Attached 2 videos. Fist one showing the sim start and the 2nd one a location change. Both loads reset the frequencies. Tried it in the inibuild A300 as well. The ILS freq. loads at 117.09 which is an impossible frequency as well. All default planes are working fine. i never touched the Flywithlua plugin. I still have the vanilla sim witht he IXEG 737 and the inibuild A300. No scenery, ground service, weather addon or anything else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQGU5343W28&ab_channel=Stephan (you can see I ticked the "start with running engines option") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA5iaYMeJ1U&ab_channel=Stephan Don't spend too much time on this tiny bug as it doesn't cause any problems. Have a nice weekend everybody.
  8. Just had the crash of the sound system again enroute from EKCH to ENAT in cruise followed by a CTD. Log file attached but I don't think it shows somehting new as the last thing is the ever updating weather which is not the cause. Log.txt
  9. Small thing: At every loading of the airplane the NAV1 frequency is at 101.09. As soon as I dial it snaps into the known frequency band. NAV2 is not affected by this. Hope this is an easy fix for IXEG.
  10. As a short feedback: I'm having the same issue. Outer marker sounds weird: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCHIAGvIPIQ&ab_channel=Stephan Middle marker is the same: https://youtu.be/7aHwjrNFZ9I?si=70xStIHsz8Q3I27K&t=115 Stick shaker and power switching ding just as with Deceiver mentioned above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEF8OVnuxwg&ab_channel=Stephan Additionally when in external view I frequently get a crash of the "sound engine". Only ambient sounds remain (even though switched off in the sim's sound menu). No warning (e.g. fire warn test) or engine sounds are audible in internal and external view when this happens. I have to restart the sim to regain the sound. Attached a video example with time stamp. No replay or sim rate change used. Just switching between the views via Shift + 1, Shift + 2, etc.: https://youtu.be/HYrivwctN7o?si=8QqeY3MmKD2v7_gu&t=82 Since I'm having lots of sound issues with the inibuild A300 as well (which runs with an older FMOD engine than XP12 if I understood their corresponding support post correctly) I'm guessing this is a sim problem. Hopefully somebody finds the cause of this sooner than later as this is really annoying after having XP12 out of beta and on the market for more than a year now. Sound sets are so good but frequently crash in XP12. Godspeed and happy landings! Stephan
  11. I've just checked it with the default 737 that comes along with XP. No CTD there. The problem for me is limited to the IXEG737 so far. Fingers crossed it gets sorted out soon. And thanks for your support.
  12. Hello fellow 737 pilots, I have the same issue as described above. Please find two sets of my log files attached. Furthermore I've uploaded a screenshot of my plugins folder. I have a vanilla install of XP12 as I just bought it to run the IXEG737. I have no other addons installed and I have set the weather to static (no automated weather download activated). I'd like to add that my impression is that the CTD described in this thread is linked to the exterior SOUNDS. As soon as I open a cockpit window the sim crashes within seconds. The same happens when I switch to external view (and the sound changes). Therefore my feeling as a greenhorn is, that it might be the external sounds and not the external view. It takes a couple of seconds where I still can hear ground vehicles and the ratteling of loose equipment but the engine sounds totally disappear. 5-10secs later I get a CTD. I hope this helps to find the problem. Kind regards, Stephan debug.log debug2.log Log.txt Log_ATC.txt Log_ATC2.txt Log2.txt
  13. Dear support team, I also had unsubscribed from the newsletter and therefore have not received the discount code fpr my 2018 order of the IXEG 737. Can you please send me the code again? X-Aviation support recommended to ask in this forum for help. Best regards, Stephan
  14. Hello! I've tried the recommendation and it works for me. Thank you! I deleted my FlyWithLua folder after I edited the 733.acf file to make sure that it's really the aircraft/sim combination working fine and not the workaround with Lua. Nevertheless it would be good to know if others could solve this problem who never had the FlyWithLua plugin installed. Best regards and happy simming! Stephan
  15. Hi Jan! I assigned unused buttons of my joystick to the left and right brakes. That doesn't solve the problem. Then I installed the FlyWithLua Plugin and the Differential Brake Plugin I linked above. Assigning the new "FlyWithLua left and right brakes" to unused buttons at my joystick solves the problem. Now I have these messages to the lower left side with B for Parking Brake, b for normal braking and two columns that increase slowly if I use differential braking (assigned but not needed). Still thinking about a real control set consisting of pedals, yoke, etc. Thank you for reporting it to xPlane. Stephan
  16. Hi Jan! Thank you for your "T/S order". It took me a while to figure out how to display the values but here you go. As soon as I twist on my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick the brakes do also apply. The more I twist the more I brake. Any idea how to disable this? I know that in FSX there was an option to do differential braking on some aircrafts like this. But mixing tiller an brake inputs on the twist axis of a single joystick doesn't make sense for me. Best regards, Stephan Edit: I just googled xplane and differential braking. This is what I found: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/37662-differential-and-progressive-brakes-for-x-plane-11/ B733_1.mov B733_2.mov B733_3.mov
  17. Dear IXEG Team! I can not make tight turns during taxiing. If I steer above a certain amount of degrees the inner main wheel blocks. I've made a video showing this behavior from the front and from next to the inboard main wheel. Do I need to adjust a specific setting? I used some kind of "text editor" in the active sim to define my joystick dead zones. But even before I changed these settings I had the problem. I am using the latest version of the IXEG 737 and I run xPlane 11 on my iMac. Therefore xPlane itself is not at the latest revision as the newest version seems to be for Windows users only. I tried to update it to get the latest German translations for the menus etc but in another forum I read that this update is not for Apple users. B733_7.mov
