I am also getting CTDs. I fly VR, but use non-volumetric clouds. Typically now, Xplane loads much more slowly and when I am finally in the cockpit, I get maybe 20 seconds before a CTD if I don't touch anything. The CTDs are always related to an activity of Traffic Global. If I disable Traffic Global, no more CTDs. Up to 5.0.4 I had no problems with SMP and TG. Since loading 5.0.5, my FPS is much lower and I have to turn off TG to be able to fly. I reported this to Traffic Global as well. EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED. It was Avitab that I updated at the same time as Skymaxx. Folko provided a new file and cured the problem entirely. Thanks.....

Glad you are happy with your sales figures. I wrote all this because Skymaxx wasn't sufficiently visible in my corner of the Flight Sim community. I do my part and hoped that you would do more. Carry on as you wish......

Skymaxx has a somewhat feeble presence on Facebook. I am currently in about 10 groups on Facebook - X-plane and VR related. Every once in a while someone mentions Skymaxx, but it is getting less than 10% of the conversation. Word of mouth is golden! People buy on recommendations. Having a demo in such a competitive niche would make a big difference. You have so many competitors, freeware included. Your relatively high price point is a very significant barrier. If people could try it for free, you would get a lot more buzz on the web and a lot more sales because the product warrants that. But with so much competition, you need to do more to get your share.... or you could just muddle along and congratulate yourselves for what you have already sold. A demo program would multiply sales by at least 4!

I recently bought Skymaxx and already own all of the weather programs for Xplane. Skymaxx is in a class of it's own. But nobody uses it. Why? Because it is expensive and there is no demo. If you want to quintuple Skymaxx sales, create a demo download that works for a week and then requires an activation code. Clearly, you will also have to do this with the Real Weather Connector. Many software designers already do this. If people can see what it does, they will buy it in droves! I can't believe that you guys are letting other programs get all the attention. What sells addons is word of mouth on the forums and you need more disciples than just me. Once people get their hands on this, the buzz will grow exponentially.

In reading the documentation for the real TBM900, I saw an entry in the checklists to turn on Nose Wheel Steering. I saw it only once although I still have 400 pages to go. My TBM doesn't respond at all when I twist the joystick (unlike most of my other planes) - all steering is done with the rudder pedals. And those over-react severely. I have got to think that the real TBM doesn't react to the steering like the sim version. Surely there are adjustments that can be made in the acf file?

I need to check and see if I can do 10 mile approaches with this plane - or 3 mile approaches. I have an autosave program which allows me to restart a flight in the air if needed. That is why I asked about Jump in and Fly.....

When I load a saved replay - not an immediate replay after landing - the plane loads just fine and flies the route that was saved, but it does that with black instruments. I know this is not an important item, but when I want to show off the plane to a visitor, they don't get to see the instruments. Also, that restricts my ability to make videos from replays. Am I the only one, or do others have this problem?

If I have 32GB RAM, do I need to configure a paging file?

When we are debugging something, it is a royal pain in the a to have to go through the whole start routine. It takes 5 minutes to load the plane and scenery and another 5 minutes to start the engine is a nuisance. If you want to play study level, you should have that option, but there are at times valid reason to speed up the process....... Starting with the engine running is NOT moral turpitude!

I use both VR and a 4K monitor. I know that getting menus into VR is way down the road, but I have a problem with my monitor that I think can be saved with a little code. The menus and text on a 4K monitor are SOOOOOO small that I literally have to use a looking glass to read the screen. X-Plane now allows us to scale the user interface and even set a text size so the Laminar stuff is easy to read. The TBM menus and text are almost impossible. With the looking glass I can see them, but you can imagine how clumsy it is to take off headphones, push the VR goggles up on my forehead, pick up the looking glass in one hand and the mouse in the other - to work with the menus. The Gizmo interface is even worse! POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Could the code scale the menu boxes (and included text) based on the size of the user screen resolution? I don't know if there is a dataref for user screen resolution, but if there is then scaling should be a few lines of code...... Fingers crossed!

I checked with it both off and on. No joy! OK, I deleted all States and loaded the plane anew. The nosewheel doesn't respond to the joystick twist, but it DOES respond to the pedals, so I have steering. All my other planes respond to both the joystick and the pedals, but I am happy being able to steer. Complaint cancelled.

Hello, I have 11.30 with the TBM 900 1.08. The nose wheel steering doesn't work although it does on all my other planes. I use a joystick, but nothing that I do with it moves the nose wheel. The pedals don't steer either until I am at speed. It is fine once in the air. I made a clumsy circuit using the differential brakes but it was ugly. Am I the only one? All the other planes steer normally.

Hello, I am starting from scratch with an autosave program and the fact that you have gone this far is terrific. Please, please share what you have done so far so that I don't have to reinvent the wheel!!!!!????? Notify me by PM or however..... Thanks EDIT: My AutoSave program is done and will be on the org for download within a few days. It saves a situation which puts the plane back in the air with heading, speed, and location. I haven't tested on the IXEG, but I think it saves fuel and other system variables. It doesn't save the flight plan so you have to reload that and activate the current leg. I'll attach it below....
