DuckMod SOAR Airlines for IXEG 737-300 View File Remember the good old SOAR Airlines livery one could find in FS2004? If you missed it in X-Plane, here it is, altough it has never been a default livery for the 737-400 in FS2004. I have changed some things to make it a little more "smooth". Have fun and happy landings! Only tested with X-Plane11, should work with X-Plane 10 too. DuckMod World Travel Airlines for IXEG 737-300 View File Remember the good old World Travel Airlines livery one could find in FS2004? If you missed it in X-Plane, here it is. I have changed some things to make it a little more "smooth". There are two versions. One ,which can be seen in the screenshots, with a saturated red tone, and one, with the red tone taken straight out of the FS2004 livery. It looks like tamato soup in X-Plane, hence a saturated version. Have fun and happy landings! Only tested with X-Plane11, should work with X-Plane 10 too. If this is not considered a bug, please move topic to the correct forum Hello dear devs, as I was curious if the AP can handle an Autoland with the new downwash effect, I did a quick test. Conditions: EDDH rwy 23 with weather set to clear (no wind, no rain, no clouds, no turbulence) GW 52,2t 11.32r2 (beta) The plane flared, "ballooned" at about 20 feet RA, then descended again and touched down. So it looks like the autoland function or the flight model (whatever, maybe both) need a recalibration to work with the new downwash effect. Kind regards from Hamburg Germany

if you do it like me and use two saitek throttle levers for the reversers, do it like i did in the attached screenshot. It gives you an almost idly detent. I fiddled around a bit to find the perfect setting.
-
Uh. So then it must be a NG/MAX thing. Or i got something completely wrong Again something learned.

Hello Ppl I´ve made a feature suggestion regarding reverse stages. It`s no longer needed since x-plane now provides the custom response curves. I just make my own rev. stages. I´d just like to know, how much of N1 reverse stage 2 has. As far as kno: 1: idle N1 2: idk 3: ~83% N1 So maby one can help me out on this ^-^ Greeting from Hamburg, Germany

I´m running 11.30r1 at the moment and the square seems to be gone!
-
Hello Jan, seems like the right moment for a quick question about the flight model. I use the X-plane Beta (11.30B3) at this time and i can´t land dat thing without floating. If i don´t float, i smash it on tho the Runway. So it´s either float or smash. (I know it has nothing to do with the IXEG but the 737-800 by ZiBo has improved landing dynamics. Thats why I´m confused although i know both planes have different wings.) Landed perfectly in 11.26. Is the current "feel" realistic? do i have to get used to it? Or is it a byproduct of the new flightmodel of 11.30 and it wil be fixed at some time? Cheers!

I´m downloading 2.15 a this moment. I´ll modify it like i did in 2.0 and test it from top to bottom, probably next wekend. I didn´t thought about the go around problem with the flap retraction altitude. I´ll have to put some crativity into that.
-
Great! However... engine start switches and FLT/GRD switch doesn´t work for me. i don´t know why. i´ve checked which version i have. it´s clearly 2.0. for flap retraction i simply added: if speed >= 140 and radioaltitude >= 1000 and step == 1 then It shure is possible to build another trigger to switch between 1000 and 1500 ft. I also have reworked the flap setting values. (probably completely useles but i´m a perfectionist :P ) I noticed, that the generator connetion sound is cut out. probably due to the checklist popping up. I´d change the after landing procedure trigger to the strobes as the turnoff lights are often used for taxiing. The strobes are always switched off when you leave the runway. I´d change the takoff items trigger to one of the inboard landing lights as i for example like to take off without the outboards for fuel saving reasons. I have so many ideas for this script : P I can write them down and send them to you if you like : )
-
I´m really diving into this script trying to improve it. I´ve already added a flap retraction altitude of 1.000ft, so the FO doesn´t set flaps 1 right after liftoff... which is a little unhandy ._. I´m trying to make the FO handle the GRD/FLT switch, but if i enter the dataref into the script, lua crashes. no idea why. I´ll also try to make it set flap 30 for final. i´m a flap 30 guy ._. I´wonder if it would be possible to link takeoff and landing config to the FMC data. Would be awsome. I´m also trying to make the FO arm the speedbrakes... which doesn´t work. Same problem the engine start switches have i guess : P This script has plenty of potential : ) EDIT: Copilot now also starts chrono during before taxi procedures and stops it during after shutdown procedure.

Hey guys i kinda have a problem. I´m at a Stand in icing conditions. -3°C , Snowy. Ice was clearly visible on the wipers, so it was on windscreens as long as windowheat was of. At some point i noticed, that the GW in the ground services menu didn´t match up with what my fmc said, even after a few calculations (i wanted to check if maby i made a mistake). So i assumed it must have been the ice building up on the wings. At that point the deviation was about 5 tons. But no matter what i did, (wing anti ice, engine anti ice and so on) the GW shown in the ground services-menu kept rising...and rising... and rising... to app. 66 tons it startet to drop as it stopped snowing. As soon as the snow came back, the GW rose again. Am i doing something wrong? Or is it a bug? The only thing that helped, was to switch to manual weather setting and winch the temperature up to 40°C. this made the GW drop very fast, so at least i could fly somehow.
