  10. Flying the forgotten H500D around EGKK Gatwick and EGKR Redhill. It's like a sports car after flying heavy helis.
  11. This is just a basic copy of the G-Jive livery for Brett's Hughes 500D in red, but done with a bit more detail, as the original was a screen photo. This one has been redone from scratch in photoshop. Hopefully a bit more detail. Just place the folder "Red Jive" into xplane/aircraft/helicopters/Hughes 500D/liveries. EDIT: 2325hrs GMT 10Nov11, corrected nose panel, which was too bright. EDIT: 2017hrs GMT 11Nov11 amended folder to include missing paint file. 12. This is the livery of 7504 D-HECA, a 1993 C-1. It had this same livery when it was re-registered D-HOTZ and used in SAR, before being painted white and registered I-BKBS in 2003. Its last registration showed it as G-RESC, one of the East Anglian Air Ambulance fleet. However in February 2011 Sterling Aviation were unable to continue leasing 7504 and another BK117 to EAAA so the contract ceased. 7504 is currently for sale in Ohio http://www.aviationb...comp_id=141512. (Bond Air Services have since offered EAAA two Bo-105s instead until they take delivery of one EC135 P2 in December 2011 and an EC135 T2e in July 2012. In December 2013 they will take on an EC145 T2, thus returning to the BK117 lineage). File located in file library here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/files/category/20-helicopters/

  14. I hoped an Air Atlantique livery might show up eventually, esp considering they were the last DC-3s operating here in the UK out of Coventry until a year or so back, before Health & Safety declared they were too old for passenger service (unless the owners paid for an expensive extra certificate, which would "suddenly" deem them airworthy and passenger-worthy enough to continue) and that was that. No more DC3s flying anywhere in the UK. I think one of them went to Buffalo.
  15. I thought a C47 livery was coming. Also, a Buffalo one?
  16. ewww no. especially if lukasz adds negative g. kinda adds new meaning to "floater".....
  17. Is there one to tell men to put the toilet seat in the down position after using? Let me guess - "LES/DC3/bathroom/hygiene/leave_it_down_buster_or_youre_not_getting_any_2nite"
  18. eesh, not much room to squeeze in to face the sink...

  21. Two new liveries for the BK117 - the Nightingale Sentara. Sentara's air ambulance Nightingale, a 1986 BK117-A4, named for Florence Nightingale, began in late-February 1982 as the region's first air ambulance and the 38th air medical program in the country. Based at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Nightingale serves a 125-mile radius, flying as far north as Washington, D.C. as far south as Ocrcoke Island, east to the Eastern Shore and west to Charlottesville, Va. The OLD livery for the Nightingale Sentara BK File located in file library here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/files/category/20-helicopters/ Updated 29Oct11 1615GMT - there are now the old Sentara logos on the engine cowlings (shown here) which were missed off. Sorry. And the CURRENT livery for Nightingale Sentara File located in file library here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/files/category/20-helicopters/
  22. Thanks Merisi. Just a shame I wasn't able to find out what happened to the second Blue Champagne, whether it survived the war or if/when/where it was shot down.
  23. wow, small world. welcome.
  24. Never mind, no doubt you'll soon be awash with multiple F35s once the UK defence ministry takes delivery of theirs and then finds they've got: a ) nothing left to fly them off (ships mothballed/airbases closed) b ) no-one left on the payroll to fly em (savage defence cuts) c ) everyone who IS left is either in Iraq, Afghanistan or........Libya. ... they'll be desperate to offload em. Mark my words, the "drones" Sir ordered may be a bit larger than you expected.....
