  2. TOW-equipped BK
  3. This is what I like to see - people putting innovative touches to masterpieces. I warn ya, it's addictive. Next it'll be seat coverings and all sorts. That's what happened when I started modifying "little" parts of the BK117.

  7. Early morning sortie over Arras
  8. ***** EASTER EGG ***** This is the livery of c/n 1077, a Kawasaki-built BK registered in the Ukraine. This livery was the basis for the old x-pilot livery, but now corrected colours and registration added. 9. Yes, but not up to my standard.

  11. Actually Ben, I was referring to zroman. With all the slagging off and far-from-cordial atmosphere towards him, I wouldn't blame him walking away and using his talents on something else, like FPS/computer games or some other industry where they'll welcome him with open arms. Not for his attitude, but for his talent. You can tame the former, but rarely grow the latter; that's inbuilt. But, anyone would think we can afford to let budding developers just walk away. We should be nurturing them, not pushing them out the door because they make one or two mistakes. For every one zroman, there's a 1000 talentless wannabes who can only use xplane but not build for it.
  12. MD902 Explorer - Calstar livery. File located in file library here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/files/category/20-helicopters/
  13. Of course we have an excess of sooo many talented developers in the pipeline that we can afford to lose one. I would've thrown in the towel and walked away with my talent long ago if I was him. I doubt he'll have any shortage of industry places to utilise his talents in. Why stick with xplane, where the atmosphere is less than cordial? There's a danger here of cutting one's nose off to spite one's face. How about mentoring, instead of constantly ripping into?
  14. Sorry, I can't help. I'm sticking with xp9.
  15. That second vid, the Squirrel, I thought that one's Dynamic Rollover.
  16. Eurocopter A Star disintegrates on landing (Video in link) http://www.bbc.co.uk...merica-17150747
  17. No problem, glad you sorted it. You do know there is an overhead light in the upper console. It comes on by default when you switch the BK's main power on and then select the Bus Tie. The switch to turn it on/off is just to the left of it, marked here with a grey/white circular surround.
  18. Lighting comes on automatically once Power On switch (1) is used, and then Bus Tie switches (2) are used. You can then adjust brightness using the three rotary switches underneath the Bus Tie switches.
  19. I gave up waiting. His loss. He needs to keep people "in the loop."
  20. Maybe it's unpopular because buyers have seen forum questions go ignored, and failure to deliver working models. There are better helis out there, with better support, that you can get liveries for easily and quickly.
