  2. The only concern I have with Steam is I played MW3 on it, and the constant having-to-be-online and logged-in with them was a bit of a pain. That's not even taking into account if their servers are ever hacked, which is a bit too often for my liking. Something not great about buying a product and getting it home, but before you can use it you have to go online, register an account and stay online all the time. Broadband hiccups and you're kicked out and have to start all over. Don't know about anyone else, but I steer clear of anything involved with Steam now.
  3. Thanks Valentin. I've had it ages, but never got used to flying it. Dug it out and spent more time on it recently, and the JetRanger is rapidly becoming my favourite.
  4. Fly? I can't get off the ground. Far too happy to just sit here and listen to this thing's fantastic engine and blade sounds.
  5. Sorry, I don't know the answer but I didn't want you to think we were all ignoring you. Welcome to the forum, btw.
  6. That is soooo right. The more complicated the acf, the bigger the bugfile list. Visions of Morten & crew busy swatting before release....
  7. Some nice pics there. Just a shame the cockpit one was fuzzy, but that's cameraphones for you. The cabin one takes me back.... last time I flew you either had to read or look out the window. Now there's tv screens to watch. Hey ho....
  8. Little green squares At the top left of the forum page, there's a title called "Hi, we are X-Pilot" and two rows of 15 of our avatars. I note some of those avatars have little green boxes in the lower right of the avatar. Anyone know what that means?
  9. You can try all the arguments and reasons in your repertoire, but I'd stake my house on it you're not going to win.
  10. That's not going to happen here. IXEG are on it, and have kept us updated regularly. Not even close to the XPJets scenario.
  11. Individually they do. All of them have put out work in their own right, so there is a reputation to go by.
  12. That's life. People need to understand that making any plane takes months and months, especially heavies. I think both IXEG and LES have done extremely well keeping us updated with progress through all these long months. Have patience.
  13. I would download it quick, if I were you. Although Heliair's owner seems fine with the livery being up, others are not.
  14. Heliair G-WINR v2.0 28 Sept 2013 R22-marked floormats added as above. Also rivets have now been added. Fred's original has its rivets blended into a shiny paint layer, which I haven't found a way to separate, so the rivets have been created from scratch. http://forums.x-pilot.com/files/file/566-heliair-g-winr/
  15. Looks like Khamsin's doing a B-25 Mitchell. It'll be worth waiting for. Cameron, is this one coming X-A's way? http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=23517&page=3034#entry766863
  16. Actually, you're right - there is a default R22. However it is of such low quality (it's ancient) that I couldn't justify putting this livery on it. I have to consider that this livery originates from - and belongs to - Heliair and I'm not sure they'd want their livery on a very low-res, third-rate "default" heli.
  17. I think the "default" R22 is actually an R44, so no.

  20. I have to say, rcmarple's Saab livery has so far stayed up at the org about 23 hours longer than I expected it to.
