Ok, thanks for the answer.

I've tried every setting but max and the autobrakes do not seem to slow this bird down. I use XPRealstic with the braking sound and don't hear a sound until i manually press the pedals. XP11.02r Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

That fixed it thanks.

I too am having this problem but it happened on T/O went from a rotate @ 40 FPS to 1 FPS, here is the vid

Cpu specs: I7 4770K @4.4ghz 16gb ddr3 @ 2133mhz Nvidia GTX 1080 I will say that the way your thunder storms are in the sim kill the performance. Here are my settings for Skymaxx

So the invisible thundercell I flew threw has nothing do with with your cloud placement? This post was not about the turbulence or the game crash. The settings I have should not conflict with one another. Considering you get the weather data form your source and inject them into my game, the missing thundercell cloud is on your end and not mine. I know nothing is going to be perfect but the fact your weather data injected the precipitation and not the cloud is just puzzling. the point being you say this: The Overall DescriptionReal Weather Connector lets you see different weather conditions in the distance, and fly into them smoothly, just like in real life. All of the clouds around you will be in the right place and at the right altitude, and won't just "pop" in as you fly. This type of experience was not possible with SkyMaxx Pro v3 due to limitations in X-Plane. We've coded around that to make this possible! But that video showed different. So I ask... Where are the clouds that I should have flown through? Because no where else can you fly in clear sky and have it rain and hail.
-
This has happened several times and needs to be addressed. Is this really working how it is supposed to? Where were the Thunder cells at? Why did the weather change even know I have the " Never changed visible weather " box ticked. Smooth transitions.... Really nothing smooth about it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'm starting to lose my hair over this. Proof below....... As you can see I opened up the options for RWC to try and try to change it and it strait out crashed. I was expecting that from previous encounters with this problem, so not complaining about that at all. Not being a dick here, but this seems to be a reoccurring thing for me. I am using NOAA plugin while flying on Vatsim and here are my settings **WEATHER IN NOAA IS FROM A DIFFERENT TIME/LOCATION AND SHOULD BE DISREGARDED**

Problem with Visual C++ 2015 runtime installation
[Knight] replied to Lucky67's topic in SkyMaxx Pro v4
Don't thinks its big deal for the guys that have it but i think its just a fall back in case your PC don't have the version. May be that's why we are getting the error. -

i get the same. I rerun the vcredist_x64.exe and says cannot install because there is a newer version installed. Lets face it, may not come today.... but nothing runs smooth ever and date are always subject to change.. no biggie

inside scoop is SOON ; ) that is what Cameron just said to me.

I've found some what of a bug. When the cloud impostors are near a thunder cell, the cloud impostors will disappear with head movement while using TrackIR at certain angles and pop back in again at other. Don't know if its been reported or been addressed in the 4.5 update but just a heads up.
-
Here is an example of a volumetric cloud in XP11. Looks natural for a sim anyways. Are there any plans in the future to release RWC as a standalone weather engine?, because I think that would be your money maker.
-
Once again do you care to elaborate and explain what volumetric is or are you gonna play the secret game, other than shooting what I say down. And I meant by the fading wing effect thing, as the cloud would engulf the plane as like vapor effects, you can literally see the cloud roll over the nose/windscreen and over the wing. Just like IRL, And when you speak in terms of clouds volumetric has a lot to do with the density because you are measuring the amount vapor particles in the cloud. Volumetric has everything to do with the strobe lights flash XP11 because the default clouds are volumetric, If your not in the cloud then the effect don't happen. And flying through 2d sprites and watching them rotate around like it on an axis is not volumetric. I applaud what the Devs are doing because i can't do what they do. I'm just a paying customer that is disappointed in the product because it fails to deliver as advertised. And flying through volumetric clouds may not sound like a big deal but, I love my immersion and flying through clouds is what planes do all the time, 24/7 and if you can't get that right then lest fly CAVOK all the time.....boring. This is not a pissing contest, I'm quit concerned that that I'm getting cheated out off some of my money and I need my money. Being a disabled Vet only pays so much a month you know.

[Knight] started following Volumetric clouds??/RANT

I can't speak for the Devs product definition, but the real definition is a measure of volume. Meaning when you fly through a cloud like a cumulus you will actually not be able to see your wing to a certain point depending on how thick the cloud would be. That would give the cloud more depth in other words. Currently I have not had this experience with SMP4 but with the default XP11 clouds I have to some extent. Take a night flight for example. With the default XP11 cloud like a cumulus, the white strobe would blind the heck out of you when you fly through it as they flash, but in SMP4 it does not. At least as far as I can tell it don't.
