  1. Greetings talented painters!! Any chance we could get a Piedmont Airlines in their prime paintjob for the awesome 733? It was the plane my dad flew when we moved to NC when I was kid in the mid 80's, would LOVE to see it alive again on the IXEG! Have many hours looking out the windows of this livery as a kid ha. I've searched all the known places and Google, nothing popped up, doesn't seem it's been done, but I think it's a great looking bird! Piedmont was bought by USAir in the late 80's, which then became US Airways which has now merged with American Airlines recently. Here's a link with 4 great pics: http://www.jetpiedmont.com/gallery/?AC=733 Thanks so much! Allen
  2. I thought this was a discussion forum for paying customers of this platform, appears it is not. Apologies for the bother Cameron.
  3. Simple two thoughts on this response, and I do mean them with respect. My email provider is Yahoo, have used it for almost two decades happily, and always get important emails, not to mention I monitor my spam folder regularly. Plus, on top of that, you apparently did not even receive my "reset request" in the first place via the support page that I was linked to while logged into X-Aviation.com that I filled out and submitted: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php My email is fine for purchases, receipts of purchases from your site, and I get all your emails, even the ones advertising SMPv4 coming soon, now released etc, and then when I need support, it's my email provider at fault and couldn't possibly be your site that might have a problem? I really like your site and products, but I went through the proper channels and they did not work. You yourself can see I'm not a pirate based on my purchases, so obviously there is a problem at some point in the chain. I know others on avsim (and even support you over there) that have similar complaints (no, not that obsessive guy lol). All I'm saying is it would probably be worth your time to figure out why when we click "reset request" and then get linked to the form above, you don't get our tickets and we never get a reply.
  4. Thanks for replying. Must be something going on with the X-Aviation ticket system, as I submitted it via the "Request Reset" link about 3-4 weeks ago. I filled out the form after trying to download two previous plane purchases on your website that had expired but haven't heard anything for weeks. Might be why I see other complaints on other boards for the same reason, which is unfortunate. Any ticket reply didn't go to spam, but I simply never got a ticket number or any response at all and based on your instructions to not re-apply, have been waiting. Sounds like you never got my request however. My request was for new downloads for the Jetstream 32 (Order Number: 9326) and the MU-2 (Order Number: 15210) as I unfortunately had a HDD failure last year and was now getting back into X-Plane finally again. Have since bought the Saab 340 and IXEG 737, love them both, but have been discouraged with the lack of response to my request from X-Aviation, so glad to see it might have just been a tech glitch.
  5. Hey Cameron, not to get too far off topic, but can you help me with a download reset request? Been waiting for a reply to my ticket for weeks without luck, thanks! Ended up buying the bird, look forward to the update, thanks! And, for what it's worth, no stuttering I've seen yet. Awesome plane.
  6. This is really cool, look forward to see where you take it, thanks for working on it! I get random crashes from Xenviro when it tries to update the weather and for whatever reason can't. This would be great to have.
  7. Ha, see any of my sad plane maker concoctions over the years lol... that hanger would fly much better I bet, and sure don't take my comment as a knock, just a request. Thanks for noting and responding, and congrats on an awesome creation! Great aircraft, I have many great memories of the 737 in the early years when my dad flew them for Piedmont/USAir. Many standby flights on these ha, just hoping to get a seat, and ecstatic when it was a window :-) He's now flying the A330 for American after the merger, but this is the plane I flew on the most. Great memories! Glad to see such an epic simulation of it!
  8. As a potential customer and now owner of the plane, I will admit I was disappointed when I read wing flex wasn't modelled. I did in the end buy it, but it did make me seriously think twice, and I sure hope it is added. I get "wing flex" is an easy (and now common) joke in our FS world, but also to simulate the plane to such a nice detail and ignore that a 95 foot wide slab of relatively thin metal doesn't flex is silly too. The simple gauges flounder about, so to me so should the wings a bit. With no wing flex, I feel like I am simply flying one of the static library objects honestly. I enjoy realistic procedures, but also watching outside or passenger views etc., particularly at this price point. Static wings are simply disappointing and show the dev is either lazy or ran out of time or resources. Obviously in this case, you haven't had the time yet, as you did a lot so well. I bought the plane despite not having wing flex, but I did hesitate once reading this feature was lacking. I don't think I'm alone. Please add them :-) Take care all!
  9. And, apologies for the multiple replies, but after further digging, it seems some other users of Xenviro are having the same crash to desktop problem this past week on different aircraft. So, nothing it seems at all to do with the great Saab, just a fluke in timing of when I was spending a good bit of time learning the Saab and Xenviro apparently having server issues during that same time period. Until this past week Xenviro was great and stable, but this new turn is quite annoying. Apologies Ben, hope you didn't spend any time on this. Love the Saab and can't wait to see what is in store with v2!
  10. Here's the log file from my last flight mentioned above, only change was removing Xenviro. Log.txt
  11. Hi Ben, Following up from my last post, I have now had a couple successful flights that have not had any issues while flying the Saab 340. The only change I have made is I removed the Xenviro folder from the plugins folder. All my other previous Saab flights since purchasing it last week with Xenviro installed have resulted in a simulator crash. Oddly, I have not had any other stock or 3rd party aircraft crash with or without Xenviro. So, seems it's not the Saab itself by any means but some odd interaction between the Saab and Xenviro on my machine at least. I fully understand this does not make it your problem to troubleshoot, and will explore things from the Xenviro side, but wanted to let you know the results I am getting after further time to test. Thanks, I will attach the last log that was a 1 hour 40 minute successful flight in the Saab that has previously crashed every time with Xenviro installed. It's the tutorial flight you guys have included as a baseline. Allen
  12. Not sure if this should be in a new post or continuing this one, but I too am getting crashes in XP10.51 with the Saab 340. Absolutely LOVE the aircraft, nothing I post further is a complaint against it! But, I too get crashes consistently with this aircraft, sometimes shortly after launch, sometimes an hour or more later. No other aircraft has had a crash. I am also running xEnviro. Is this related? I run a pretty clean sim, stock plus HD Mesh v3, assorted addon planes, and Xenviro. Machine is an i7-6700K/16GB/Nvidia 1070. I have yet to get a crash in any other aircraft, including multiple GA providers, FF757v2, etc. It's just the Saab that I'm flying when things crash. I will attach the log. Thanks, love the plane! Log.txt Log2.txt
  13. Hi, I was about to purchase the 737, but ran across this thread. Framerate issues, particularly stutters drive me nuts. Has any further progress been made to fix this? Thanks! Looks like a great package otherwise.
