  1. I don't know what happened, and I have only checked it out on my 10.5.8 machine because that's my X-Plane machine, but something is seriously wrong. Click on New Content, then Falco, and get 9.22|Sport|Homebuild, titled Foo, this: Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information Custom Sounds No Aircraft Year 1966 to 1999 Reason for Modification No Information And a download button labeled 4.86MB. No shots whatsoever. Click on other options in the menu to no avail.
  2. Good tips, I'll look over them tonight or tomorrow, and post a shot of the greatest BK livery, in my opinion.
  3. Quick question, how does one open the bomb bay doors? I have dropped bombs safely without opening them, but want to know how one does this.
  4. Actually, the demos are only flown by designated pilots on a 2-year tour from the 1st FW, Langely, AFB. First was Paul "Max" Moga, then David "Zeke" Skalicky. The backup bird was new-guy Henry "Schadow" Schantz's ride down to KLAL (Tail Code 'FF'), but they used the primary ship from nearby Tyndall. A definite pro, as would anyone at the stick of the F-22 would be, but the demo pilots are hand-selected and the ONLY guys to fly the airshow circuit! Ah, it was the tail throwing me off. Though using a bird from a nearby base is quite logical. And I like the new shots just a much.
  5. Wow, plus there is a decent chance he is in training or an IP because the bird is from Tyndall.
  6. Okay, I'm about to check my wallet. Hopefully my dad will soon have $25 in his pocket & I'll have a new bird in the hangar.
  7. Great shots, especially love the shot with Blue Angel 5 and 6, absolutely perfect timing. And props to the 22 pilot who actually kept control and didn't destroy the Mustang with jet blast at such low speeds.
  8. Yes, I would use that if that would work.
  9. [sarcasm]I really hate you people.[/sarcasm] With the livery and these shots I really am going to end up soon buying the 117!
  10. Yes, I have received some training from ZTL, knowing that if I got towards the scope part of training I could just use my brother's PC. And I did earlier, as DEN_CTR though because I couldn't find a sector file for any part of ZAU. Got a few aircraft passing through and one departure.
  11. If nobody has deleted your account, you could try.
  12. My question is how long will the shots stay up? We should just make an account called "X-Pilot" and give the login info somehow, not sure, and just use that to post topics starting with "X-Pilot."
  13. Ok, well on that note, does anybody have a sector file for O'Hare or the zAU ARTCC for today? I have been unable to find one on the VATSIM's zAU site.
  14. Nice, I'm getting that paint. My idea is to start a thread in the .org's screenshot area and call it "X-Pilot/X-Aviation Helicopters"
  15. I know there's a thread in General Discussion, but the B-17 isn't just general. It is the best of the best. I took some shots on my X-Plane machine (Typing on my laptop now), and will post them here after I get it started (the shots were for the VATSIM screenshot contest for this month, I was just getting the bird in the air for the shots, didn't care about the crashing at the time). The checklist is long, but I expect extremely accurate. 3D model? The only bad part is that you can't see the glass from the inside at parts. [sarcasm]A tragedy, I know.[/sarcasm] Once I can fly it, I'm sure I will have things to add to this list. http://www.xpfr.org/?body=aero_accueil&av=62
  16. Thanks, bumped it up one setting and the textures got a little better. I'll just do it again and should be able to read it now. Thanks again for your help.
  17. Actually, the texture resolution is on normal (You mean the one that says next to it changes take effect on re-start right?)
  18. Ok, the shots. The first is with 1440x900, 32 bit color. The second is non-full screen res. The last is default monitor settings, not sure what they are. The Texture thing I mentioned earlier is "Compress Textures to save VRAM."
  19. Ok, I did mess around with the rendering options, changed the window size to full-screen, 16 bit (The first option), the first one in Expert Options (Something about textures), and FOV. Screenshot once I have dinner, maybe 40 minutes.
  20. Everything is perfect except I can't start it-yet. Part of that may have to do with the fact that I can't read the labels on some parts. I didn't have the presence of mind to take screenshots, but attached is the log.txt. I am running 9.68, Mac OSX 10.5.8, iMac 27" maybe, something around that size. Log.txt
  21. That's too bad, but it's Ben's decision. Just have to wait for Radair.
  22. Really wish I saw that earlier, would've been on their site the moment I heard it was released. Just downloaded, don't have time to (Try to) fly tonight.
  23. The code isn't available?
  24. I heard about it on the VATSIM forums, but one problem. It works only for IVAO and X-FlightServer. IVAO's website seemed dead, and X-Flightserver only gets traffic on the weekend fly-ins. My question is, how hard would it be to adapt this app to VATSIM? I have little doubt that it is beyond my coding skills, but if someone else in either the X-Plane and/or VATSIM communities would be willing to try changing it, I'd be glad to help in dealing with the BOG and getting it on the approved software list.
  25. Nicola, please erase my memory of the past 3 days so I do not have to search around for the extra cash to buy the BK117. The livery is that good.
