  1. Hello I want to temporary disable SMP and RWC. Is it enough to move out the two folders from plugins folder? Or is it other files that are changed during the SMP/RWC install also?
  2. Hello I struggle a bit with autoland and using autobrake. If im a bit late on disconnecting AP after touchdown, the autobrake wont work. I have to disconnect AP immediate after main gear are hitting the ground. If I wait for nose gear, its to late. Is it a bug or Im a doing something wrong?
  3. I see. Wonder what the logic is behind that from Boeing. But I guess I have to live with it. Thanks again for your answer.
  4. Hello Since I dont know Ill try here again. If you use TOGA for takeoff. And lets say at 2000ft you engage CMD. Then the pitch mode will be LVL CHG and roll mode will be HDG SEL if you havent selected LNAV or VOR/LOC. At the MCP the LVL CHG is ligthing up, but not HDG SEL. Is that correct?
  5. Yeah. Seen this only when GS isn't receiving. I was thinking maybe CWS Pitch was a fallback mode or something in this scenario. I dont normally engage APP before i see G/S, but you know, when your not a real pilot you dont do normal procedures
  6. Hello This may be correct, so Ill try to post this here. Is this normal behaviour when engaging APP before you receiving signal for GS?
  7. No jumping clouds so far in 3.2.1. Looks good. Thanks
  8. Hello This STAR (ABOT1C rwy 26) was drawn a bit weired. Not sure what BKY/12 (and D087F?) is doing there. EDIT: When looking at the map again I see that D12 BKY have a altitude restriction at 6000ft, so it should be there i guess, but placed wrong ? Should be more like this After deleting BKY/12 and D087F it looks more normal IXEG_FMS_debug.txt
  9. have you tried the hotfix updater?
  10. Thanks for your answer And yea, I know what you meaning, I also often get 160kts until 4DME (on vatsim ) at the London airports. So it would be nice to use flaps 10 for that. Not sure what the limits for pitching/AOA are, but last time I used flap 10/160kts at level flight I think the pitch was a bit high. I dont remember exact, but maybe 7-8 degrees or so. And I have no idea how heavy I was either. But will do some reading about it. Thanks again.
  11. But you should have the GizmoLog.txt in your x-plane root folder ? That is the most important one when having Gizmo Soft Crashes. And then report the Gizmo Soft Crash here : http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/forum/200-gizmo-soft-crashes/
  12. Hello I was wondring. If im right, the normal usage of flaps is 1, 5, 15, 30 and 40. (I may be very wrong) Each flaps have its own minimum/schedule maneuvering speeds. Below 53 tons the Boeing manual says (schedule): Up: 210kts 1: 190 5: 180 10: 170 15: 150 25: 140 The IXEG Checklist says (minimum): Up: 210kts 1: 190 5: 170 10: 160 15: 150 25: 140 What I dont understand here is that the Boeing manual says that the flap maneuver speed provide approximately 15-20 knots above the minimum maneuvering speed for each flap setting. But the flaps settings for schedule and minimum are the same except flap 5 and 10. Back to the normal flap usage, how strict is it to follow that? or is it strict at all?: If I follow the schedule, can I use flap 10 if ATC tells me or a procedure requiers me to maintain 170 kts, or should I then go flap 15? What is best practice?
  13. The debug log (for the FMS) is created and updated every time you press EXEC on the FMC now. The file is called IXEG_FMS_debug.txt in the root folder of your aircraft. No need to press "...." anymore. In addition you should, probably, still provide the GizmoLog.txt file when reporting Gizmo Soft Crashes.
  14. Normal behaviour when descending with idle thrust.
  15. Hello As you can see on the picture. I should be at FL250 at DOMAL, but the T/D is after that waypoint. So had to skip VNAV for descent this time FL250 at DOMAL was added manually during flight. IXEG_FMS_debug.txt
  16. Its acually only 2 airports that have this issue now with rev2 of cycle 1607. KASE and LEDA. And they will be fixed in next cycle.
  17. Yes. only last is needed.
  18. Some additional info. Im still flying and when I changed the TRANS LVL, the flightlevels got "fixed". IXEG_FMS_debug.txt
  19. Hello This is very like this one. I was gonna test the new turn-around feature. And for my second flight I got this wierd altitudes on my route. (dont know if it have anything to do with the turn-around) Im doing this flight now and it seems that VNAV at climb is working. But no T/C on the ND. Guess i will have some issues when descending IXEG_FMS_debug - Copy (2).txt
  20. Rev2 is out of the FMC data. The are still some airports that have the runway as first waypoint, but its reduced.
  21. Hello Its been reported
  22. BTW: i tried to downgrade back to 1.0.5, but it still says 1.0.6 on menu and FMC after the downgrade. Even restarted x-plane. Is the possibility to downgrade removed?
  23. Hello Just updated to 1.0.6. I got some strange behaviour with direct waypoints on RTE page. They disappear, but they are remaining on the LEGS page.
