  1. Hi guys, Is someone using the Ixeg733 with the Opencockpits Multi-radio (in mac OS x) in X-plane11.30. I installed the plugin from "pikitanga" available on forums.x-plane.org so that the module is linked to Xplane through a USB input (OCUSBMAPPER is the plugin). All is working perfectly, except the ADF1 & ADF2 functionality. I noticed with datareftool that i can change the values of the NAV1, NAV2, COM1, COM2 ... by pressing some buttons in the Datareftool Command part. But when i filter on ADF (in the datareftool command) i can't modify any ADF values on the pedestal module of Ixeg (displays of ADF1 and ADF2). The only way to change the freq of ADF's is to turn to the buttons on that pedestal. Is there another way to force those values on the pedestal with variables available in X-plane? The thing is that i can see the values being modified in the datareftool (variables) window when turning and pushing the buttons on my multi-radio unit of Opencockpits. Once i know any variables that i could use to modify the displayed values in the ixeg 733 ADF displays, then i can modify them in the script of "Pikitanga". Thanks for your input if you have a way to help me out. Cheers, Oliver
  2. Hi Jan and Tom, This evening i retested this situation to see if it was linked to Xlife or Ivao, but i wasn't able to force the freezing again I tried first with only Xlife (no connection on Ivao) and no freezing appeared when leaving cockpit for tower view and vice versa. Then tried only Ivao (no Xlife), no freezing. I tried then both again and activated terrain and weather radar on EHSI and still working properly ! Strange ... but lucky for us ! I'm jumping into the cockpit for a next flight with this great plane! I'm still excited as day 1 and hoping to continue to see new updates on this IXEG733 for XP10 ! Cheers and keep up the good work. Olivier
  3. Hi guys, First of all i want to congratulate the whole IXEG team for this great update (v1.1). Excellent job ! While testing out the new improvements, I noticed that when i'm on ground and activating the TCAS TA only, that the aircrafts in the air (landing/departing) are being showed correctly on the EHSI screen. I have tested the TCAS simultaneously with IVAO pilots flying around and with XLife free. Both are visible. But at a certain moment, the aircrafts doesn't move anymore on the screen. Their position freezes and also their altitude (bug?). I can reproduce the freezing moment as follow: First i'm in cockpit and i see the aircrafts moving. I select Tower view to see the aircrafts around me. Then go back into cockpit view and at that moment, the aircrafts freeze. (i can deblock the freezing by changing the scale of the EHSI screen and all of them are moving again ... going back to tower view and back to cockpit and freezing again) Does someone else have this issue? Best regards, Olivier
  4. Hello, I have a question regarding how is the best way to create randomized failures (engines, hydraulic, gear,...). There are some failures in Ixeg menu itself, and also the failures from Xplane. Are the failures created by Xplane itslelf, as realistic as the ones that can be choosen from the Ixeg menu? How could i simmulate as realistic as possible the happening of a randomized failure? Thanks. Olivier
  5. Indeed, when i looked at the "get info" part of the file i had EHAMEDDL.fpl.txt. So i removed the .txt and it worked perfectly ! (now i marked to see the file extensions) Thanks tkyler !
  6. Hi guys, First of all I want to thanks IXEG team for their excellent job ! Marvellous aircraft ! Since i'm becoming a little bit more familiar with the operation of the aircraft, i started some routine work to make my flights easier and wanted to start setting up some coroutes in the FMC. But i get the error on the fmc : Route not found. File problem. I'm using MAC OS X 10.7.5 and this is how i proceeded. I use the planner on onlineflightplanner.org , and then i enter departure airport and destination airport. Once route calculated, i copied the line into a new .txt file. This is the line i copied into the empty .txt file : EHAM SID ARNEM T196 TEBRO STAR EDDL After that i rename the file EHAMEDDL.txt as EHAMEDDL.fpl and put it into the IXEG 737 Classic/coroutes directory. Since i got that error, i tried to remove SID and STAR in the file (since i reread carefully the Interface Guide.pdf file on page 12 (Coroute flight plans). Then i tried to add 'to' and 'via' words, but with still no luck (even if i follow the example in that pdf file = KSFO MELTS J84 EKR J100 OBJ DCT SNOWY KJFK ). I copied this exact line in my EHAMEDDL.fpl file, but even that didn't work (still same error as above). I hope that someone could clarify the way on how to create coroutes and if there is maybe an easier way (that put the correct airways and waypoints with the requested to/via/dct words in it) and if possible with free programs/websites. Thanks. Olivier
  7. Hello Jan, How do you have configured the way you move in the cockpit to check parameters and to move from one side to another side. I find it very easy you show things and how to look around and zoom in/out ,... Is it possible to inform me specific key-functions (or mouse functions) you use while you are flying and sitting in the cockpit to move free around cockpit panel? Thanks. Oliver
