  1. Hello Austin, no ignorant at all your questions are absolutely appropriate! Here're the answers: 1) Yes, all the systems are modelled: some of them are simulated at 100% (such TCAS) and some not (who do really need the maintenance page of the MCDU?), this because technical and/or practical reasons 2) Wx and terrain radar is under development and I've yet to decide which radar I'll implement (I'm testing various possibilities, wrong implementation means big frame rate impact and I want to avoid that), that's the reason you don't see it between the MCDUs 3) No, the alternate gear extension is not modelled, it could be added in a future update but it will not be in v1.0. We too hope to have it ready soon, believe me!
  2. Ok, but if a developer ask you to remove (remove, not disable) all installed plugins is because he/she need to determine, without any possible doubt, if the problem you're experiencing is related to the plane itself or to any kind of incompatibility with any of your installed plugins, without this test is pretty hard to help you.
  3. Doing some flight tests:
  4. Dual MCDU 2d independent windows: Alaska livery:
  5. Hello all, sorry for the lack of news but I had to stop the development of the systems due to health problems, now I feel a little bit better so here're two WIP photos that a beta tester sent us, I hope you like them:
  6. Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it!
  7. After the MCDUs I wish to post those TCAS shots. This one is about Vatsim traffic at KSFO: This one is about Ivao traffic at LEBL: And this one is about AI traffic at LICR: Those are situations while still at ground (function enabled just to take the screenshots, sorry but I've not too much time to scramble like a fighter in order to find and intercept some airborne traffic ).
  8. Doing some test maths with the (wip) PROGRESS page on left MCDU: while checking at (wip) LEGS page on right MCDU:
  9. X-Plane take more advantage from a CPU with a higher frequency for single core than a CPU with an higher number of cores, and HT is not the best option because it could reduce the processing power of the core that is used to run X-Plane main task, so an i5 with an higher frequency should be better than an i7 with a lower frequency (sorry but English is not my native language, I hope I explained that well enough).
  10. Thank you Vespa, actually I'm working hard on the dual MCDU system and we do hope to publish some updates soon.
  11. Sure there is! In 2012 we (A.T.S.) started our MD82 & 83 project and we announced it on april 2013, actually it's heavily in progress. You can check the video on this post, more will follow.
  12. Peter, I'm interested about this news because one of the planned liveries for our MD-82 will be the Finnair one as they used to fly the MD so I wonder if there will be the chance to use our plane within your VA and, if so, I'd like to know (PM's are ok) how your cabins could be matched with our product. Thanks in advance! Best regards alfamike
  13. I'm currently working on our custom FMS so I know very very well what you mean, one of the toughest development tasks I ever worked on. Keep up your great work!!! alfamike
  14. Thank you Tom, it's a pleasure to read your kind comment, I must admit that your astounding work with the 737 was (is) truly inspirational for us while developing the plane in the latest twelve months of work so it will be a real pleasure to let you enjoy our MadDog when it will be ready!
  15. I'm glad you liked it! Yes, some training videos is another thing what we want to realize as our MD-82 and 83 are not a load'n'fly planes, all systems will be simulated in the way they really work so you must know all the procedures in order to enjoy the simulation, especially if you start in cold and dark.
  16. Hello all, after a very long time we're pleased to share our first video, we hope you'll enjoy it!
