HI Cameron, I have textures compressed. I also have world objects on Medium. No reflections at all. Antialiasing at 2x ssaa+fxaa. Visual effects on high (hdr)
xplane is showing 12,720 mb of textures currently loaded.
Not sure if lighter trees or any other work arounds are available somewhere but I would definitely be willing to try.
Thanks,
I don't know why but the Custer airport kills my frames and I have huge lag with it.
All other sceneries and airports work smooth. Even heavy ones like New York City.
My pc is pretty strong. i8700k overcloced to 4.9
gtx 1070 overclocked as well.
Is there anything you can suggest to help with this situation?
Thanks in advance.
Has anyone reported missing ice texture. I didn't take a picture of it but It looks completely white like the background on this page. On wings, spinner, radar etc.
Its not like the picture from xplana above. I had the textures before the last update but now during icing it's just not loading.
Thanks in advance.

Cameron, I understand your stand on this.
Still, I want you to see the speed I had in mind.
Is this the same as the billboards rotating you were describing?
It's in this video, at 30 minutes.

ADMIN NOTE: This topic has been split from the Real Weather Connector thread.
Let me begin by saying that I am a fan of skymaxx v3 and will buy the weather connector when it comes out too. My question is in reference to skymaxx v3 textures/renderings.
With xplane clouds or even hd clouds v2 the clouds, you get the feeling of how fast you are going. Don't know if they change the movements of the cloud as you get closer.
The clouds in skymaxx don't give me that same effect even though they look great. Not sure if I explained myself properly but is anything changing in v3.1 that would change this? Can anything be done in the settings?
