  1. I totally agree. The interior lighting is not bright enough.
  2. The glideslope on VOR#2 moves from the bottom up on the gauge. That is backwards. Please fix it. Thanks, jetjerry
  3. On EFIS planes you have the option to select "v bars" single cue or "cross hairs" double cue flight directors, at least in all the EFIS systems that I have seen. The change from single cue to dual cue flight directors is accomplished by pin programming down in the e&e compartment. In fact, most options such as altitude callouts and T-arrangement instruments (such as the Southwests' 737NG) are accomplished this way Every airline will have a preference in this regard and normally the entire fleet will use either a single-cue flight director or the cross-hair arrangement. Thanks, jetjerry
  4. A single cue would be very nice to have! That's how most were equipped in the USA. Thanks for any consideration. I'm very much looking forward to flying your B733. jj
  5. Thanks again Pete for keeping us up to date on your progress. She looks beautiful. I do believe this will be my #1 bush plane.
  6. The switch would not move. Thank you, Jerry
  7. I don't know if I've found anything related to the Elec problems or not...but: I ran the "Auto-Start" and then went down stairs to get a cup of coffee. I was delayed in my return by approx 5-6 minutes after the auto start would have finished it's routine. I noticed that the Emerg lights would NOT ARM. On a hunch I reloaded XP and started over, using the same procedure as the first try. I again delayed my "after start ck" about 4 minutes after the Auto Start finished, and again the Emerg Lights would NOT ARM. On my third try I completed the after start ck immediately after the Auto Start finished, and all worked as it should. A nice uneventful flight followed for about an hour. I don't know if this helps, but I hope so. Again, thanks for a great airplane. Jerry
  8. Greg, First off, I have been unable to dublicate the proiblem I had. Second, I said nothing about moving the interverter sw. Third, I said nothing about the EADI or EHSI screens. It may well have been a problem on my end as I have not had a like problem since. Thank for a great rendition of the Saab 340. Jerry
  9. Because the compass card for the RMI would not turn.
  10. Strange behavior: I used the auto-start function, then followed the ck-list and had no remaining lights on the overhead panel or the Emerg/Caution Panel. All went well and climbed to 11,000 feet for a short flight. After about 10 minutes the Main INV failed with NO indication lights anywhere and the HYD pump began to run continuously. Of course AP disconnected too…with no indication. Jerry
  11. Thanks to all that replied to this post. I finally "licked" the problem with your help. It was the AVG antivirus. As you can tell, I'm not much of a compuiter person, but I have about 4000 hours in a real Saab340, so I really wanted to get this thing working. Retired now. Thanks to ALL! Jerry
  12. !. I download the file. 2. I get this: folder Saab 340A 3. I double left lick on the above folder, I get a Saab 340A-osx-installer.app & a 340A-windows-installer 4. When I double left click on the 340A-window-installer & select "extract all" to desktop.... 5. I get only the folder: S340A-osx-installer.app Any help would be appreciated! Thank you, Jerry
  13. I just purchased and opened the Windows version to install and all it gives me is the MAC version. How do i get and install the Windows version? Jerry
  14. Looking great. You guys are fast movers. The DC9 is my favorite short to medium haul machine. Thanks.
  15. Mine is the same. All gyros and compass disagree with the aircraft actual hdg, except the RMI. Jerry
