I'm saying that the frames fluctuate between 40 to 20 depending on how I move around the cockpit, this does not happen in other aircrafts.
What happens in other aircraft is irrelevant. Every 3D model, system simulation, and choice for graphics is different from developer to developer.
It sounds like you have some pretty high rendering options set and you're paying for it with IXEG.

fps is still horrible with a 13900k \ 4090 \ 64GB of RAM.
In looking at your post history I can't find previous statements like this. I also don't have wide reports of such.
What are you referencing when you say "still horrible"?

Any news on ARM Support?
Running XP12 in Rosetta slows things down, so I'm currently not using any planes requiring Rosetta...
We will definitely share news when there's some to share! Rest assured, you won't need to ask for it.

Not working for me. Crashing every time with the new gizmo64 LTS plugin installed in the main XP plugs dir. It insisted I update and now no longer works at all. Bit of a shame for $120. Please help!
Please re-install the aircraft with only the plugins we ship in the installer, then post your log here to assess what may be going on.

Hi
and sorry to bring it up again : besides all the pros and cons, since I am using X11 more than X12, will the installer for the X11 version still work in case I loose my installation ?
Regards
Joachim
Yes, the installer is still downloadable and works for prior X-Plane 11 purchases.

Just one last question please, what are the differences between the DFC90 and the none DFC90 models? I looked through the manuals and saw nothing In that regard, or I simply missed it.
The DFC90 is Avidyne's autopilot system. It's simulated in the DFC90 variant.

It's almost half a year since the latest update. Is the development stopped? What's happening with the addon?

We don't track your current version number installed vs what's available.
The CL650 does have an in sim alert if an update is released, but that's the only one at this time.

Start X-Plane using Rosetta. That will solve this issue for now.

No new projects, only a few aircrafts have been updated to xplane12......
Look harder.
The answer to your title question is 'No'.

Is there any news about the update of the TBM900?
No there is not.

Yes, it does happen on occasion that someone will buy the wrong version but I believe most flight simulation users are smarter than you think (most do know how to read) and I don't believe it happens nearly as often as you think.
Think? I know. I deal with customers daily. It's my job.
It's not a statement about one's intelligence. It's about the common occurrence of NOT reading.
1 hour ago, Kalnon said:I do not believe your data is fully relevant either as you only sell a few aircraft so your data is very incomplete, it does not cover aircraft available from all payware sites.
50 products is more than a few. My data is a lot more relevant and true than anything you'll get your hands on. That's about all I can say to that.
I'm sorry you're displeased, but I've been doing this (selling products) for 16 years. I don't care to be right, I'm just stating the facts as they are.
I hope you find products that make you happy, and while I find your future purchasing decisions a bit odd, that's your choice and I respect it.
Happy flying!

I believe you but I did a survey a couple months ago (from a popular flight sim website) asking me which simulators I use most and after I finished the survey it showed me the results which actually showed many more X-Plane users are using still using X-Plane 11 version 11.55 over X-Plane 12. Another strange result that surpised me is that some X-Plane users are still using an outdated version of X-Plane 11 (version 11.30 I believe but I could be wrong) for some reason.
A website poll is not really relevant. The pool size is not indicative of add-on purchasers use behavior. My data is concrete and definitive of what actual buyers are doing.
2 hours ago, Kalnon said:All I'm asking is that they make it available for sale, I don't think that's asking too much and it will in no way hurt development of current products.
We aren't going to do this. People don't read fine print about "as-is" clauses, and many will begin purchasing the wrong one even if the supported version is in the title. I realize you think this would be simple, but on my end it's headache central. We're just not going there. I deal with customers all day long to know better than that.

I do believe I'm in the minority but I wouldn't call it a severe minority.
I have the stats of many products and can see where installs go (the CL650, as an example, is multi XP version compatible). It's definitely a severe minority. The community has by and large migrated to X-Plane 12.

What is your threshold of complaints to address a bug?
I did answer it. One is enough if we can reproduce it.

Good to know @Cameron What is your threshold of complaints to address a bug?
If we can reproduce it, we can likely fix it. That was also the case here.

I know that you are not to blame. I was hoping that you devs might have some information from Laminar that would not yet have transpired to the unwashed public.
To be frank, it's not developers' job to announce things publicly that Laminar has not. Please don't assume we'll do such a thing.
At this time we know about as much as you do on that front. -

That being said, the fact is that it should just work as-is and the IXEG-team and/or x-aviation team refuse to work it out because it's only 3 of us who had the issue (4 if we count the issue here as well), even though we offered to run stuff with debugging or extra logging so they can find the culprit. They should have a better idea where to look and we can only offer some cooperation.
The issue in this thread is not related to the one you have. It's a bug in the DC-3 code where if the DC-3 is loaded prior to activation, a crash can occur because of initialization issues. It is known and will be fixed in an update. In the meantime, as has been indicated elsewhere and by others, the interim solution is as simple as loading another aircraft, then the DC-3 for the first time around.

Speeds are not set by a server. They are dictated by the routings your ISP takes to get to a server. We cannot answer the question for you!

I'm not buying the IXEG 737 if I can only get it for XP12, it's not worth it to me. I'm also not going to buy the new LES DC3 for the same reasons.
Perfectly in your right! You're just in a severe minority.

Are there any news regarding the WX radar topic?
Got caught in a thunderstorm cell in a pitch black night ... no fun. WXR would have helped.Nope. I'm pretty sure the whole X-Plane world will know when Laminar finally gets this accessible data in. Look for news from them, not us.

There is no discounted upgrade path present for this product. If you'd like to have the Classic Plus, you'll need to purchase it new.

When I replace this file with the "xa_validate.xpl" from the "mac_x64" directory, I am able to load and interact with the plane.
You're taking away an element of the aircraft that enables all the systems to run. Just because you remove it and it loads does not mean you've solved the issue at all. Of course a Mac plugin is not going to run on Windows!
On 4/12/2024 at 12:44 PM, clecorouge said:Furthermore, the plugin relies on outdated open-source libraries, such as Libcurl.dll and Zlib1.dll, which is concerning given that we are now in 2024.
I have no idea what you're talking about when you say "outdated". They are not.
Unfortunately, it's quite clear you're throwing darts anywhere you can without a target even being present. Lots of talk that you don't have knowledge about, hence these strange accusations you've made throughout this thread about old items, and plugins not being 64 bit.
The facts remain. There's three of you encountering this. That's a pool size so small I cannot help you and you're better off seeking a common denominator amongst one another. It's the last time I'll say such, and I'm going to close this thread. Please discuss amongst yourselves in private messages. Should things change or we have an "aha!" moment, I will unlock and update this thread.- 2
SR22 issues in XPlane 12

Take X-Plane out of Full Screen mode in the X-Plane graphics settings. You likely have an activation window hiding behind the X-Plane application.
