  1. I'm glad you're as impatient about this as we are. Then again, you're probably already flying it
  2. Need a coffee refill? Thanks for the update!
  3. Not too happy to read that but it's probably for the better Fingers crossed!
  4. I did not want to join the discussion but I think you raise a valid point that I was about to mention as well that does not really concern systems depth: The IXEG 737 seems to have more of a character compared to other projects we've seen. Keep in mind that may be because we already have videos available and most of them are of a certain quality, but overall, that's my impression. I get a similar impression from Rotate's MD-80 cockpit screenshots (although I would not compare them in any other way (yet)). Either way, I would not dare compare until release. And even then... PMDG and IXEG are releasing different planes after all. I will definitely pick up both either way. Both devs would simply not release a product that is lacking in quality
  5. I'll chime in and say that for me, both aircraft in question don't really fill a niche that I feel has been underrepresented so far and would probably need to be at or close to A2A/RealAir product level for me to purchase (which may very well not be worth the time investment/price that can be asked for it). The Citation however...
  6. While I agree with your sentiment about the announcement style, it is still a developer that has set a bar for itself and it's products. They will no doubt try to reach that bar on the X-Plane platform, which should be a good thing for the consumer
  7. I'm guessing we can expect some delays, there seem to have been some changes at LES, according to Goran:
  8. And I am one of those that prefers no GPS as it is right now, but I'm probably a very small minority That said, I'm sure LES would have chosen to put in the 530 had it been the better choice.
  9. Keep in mind that OTHH only opened mid-2014 so it might take some time for scenery to come out. I know 1-2 people are working on it already, but why not use the opportunity and make it yourself?
  10. No worries. I'll gladly pick up the Citation once it's out, but I don't need a constant barrage of news and videos. I'm just glad you absolutely most definitely 100% promised to release the Saab update before the end of the month. Cheers for that!
  11. My heart starts racing when I see there are new posts by you in this thread, Goran. Give us news!
  12. Interesting! Here's another press release with a pretty picture to look at: http://www.nasa.gov/press/2014/november/nasa-tests-revolutionary-shape-changing-aircraft-flap-for-the-first-time/
  13. So, what you're saying is... winter is coming? Sorry, could not resist
  14. Posted these over on the org but felt the Saab 340A would be appreciated here too
  15. Looks great. Not really an area I am interested in flying in, but looking forward to future releases of theirs
  16. Well, if I paid for her... Goran, in your video you briefly mention the same functionality for the course selector. Is this something that might also find its way into the Saab? Or are you only planning to implement the radios?
  17. Goran, I am one of those customers that is both eagerly awaiting the Citation release but also cannot stand the Saab's radio manipulators. I was fearing for the Citation a bit. That said, I am blown away. If it works as demonstrated, it will be the best radio implementation we have seen in X-Plane. Incredible job. I really like the pop-up option. As a big turboprop fan (no pun intended), I am also really looking forward to seeing this implemented in the Saab. Thumbs up!
  18. I have the RJ70/85/100 package and am really curious to see improvements in the cockpit textures. They're terrible to the point of not being able to read what it says Will check out the latest nightly build though. The last one I looked at was back in August. Edit: Nevermind! Much, much better! Quite liking the look now. Might just start flying the RJ now
  19. I don't really want to get into the mud of this thread, but just wanted to point out that most customers that spend time writing fairly lengthy replies like Longranger did do so because they care about the product. They care and want you to make good products for us to enjoy. That said, I am really excited for things to come. Both the Saab update and the Citation. I want to like the Saab more than I currently do (please don't misunderstand, I still like it a lot) and it seems the upcoming fixes will finally take care of some of these issues
  20. Sounds like good news are ahead. Thanks Goran You've got a fantastic aircraft that just needs to be brought up to current standards, and I am sure you'll exceed expectations (again!)
  21. Just chiming in as another voice hoping for improved radios. Lovely aircraft, really, but unfortunately unusable for anyone on VATSIM/IVAO/PE right now Fingers crossed for the update!
  22. Thanks for keeping us updated, Ben. I am limited to a Mac for the coming weeks and am actually off work and was planning to get into the Saab, but oh well Another time!
