Hello, Just wondering if it is normal to see yellow caution color when torque is set to 99% and 100%. The TBM manual does not state this, even though it makes sense. At max cruise we can go to 100% torque but the yellow caution almost makes you feel like you should not do it! [X-Plane G1000 guage not identical to TBM as per TBM G1000 manual.]

On my last flight I had a generator failure after startup and I believed this was just a bug so I went ahead and flew. I tried to reset the Generator and even switched to Stby but it did not work and eventually my battery completely drained and I only had my AHRS to rely on as I made an emergency landing. At that point I had to trim the airplane manually and it was very difficult to even see the Trim Wheel because it just blends in with the pedestal. It was a challenge to trim the plane and pump the gear down, but I am alive to tell you about it lol For some reason the AHRS stopped registering the proper airspeed. It just stayed stuck. It was extremely challenging to estimate the speed. After landing the maintenance hanger only showed the drained battery but not the defective generator. Everything else remained in the green.

Hello Goran, thanks for asking, here is a screenshot. I have an LG Monitor and use their software. I also find all the rotary knobs too dark such as heading, CRS1, ALT SEL etc. I am using V 1.09 but no difference for me from V 1.08.

For me the only issue is Main Gen CAS but my electricals were fine in the Maintenance Screen prior to GPU startup, and after start I made sure to go from GPU to Battery before disconnecting the GPU and then selected Main GEN. I am in flight so I will have to wait on the ground to see if I damaged the GEN somehow. I pushed the Gen reset button but that did not help. So I decided to use the Stby Gen but it is not working.

Just wondering why you want to go between Feather and Taxi. The only time you really need to go on feather is from Flight Idle to Feather (High Idle) twice in the before T/O checklist. However there is no key assignment you can use to go from High Idle to Flight Idle. According to the manual and key binding under TBM 900 in X-Plane, there is only key binding to go from lo idle to high idle (by mapping Mixture Increase/Decrease) and from Flight Idle to Taxi (by mapping reverse thrust)

Well I managed to load an airframe with 2.9 hours at Tarbes for my Atlantic crossing so it is showing 2.9 hours. I am using the Steveo skin. I remember when I first loaded it the engine was at 2.3 (In V1.0) , and I wanted to create a new airframe at now it is at 2.9. Just for general info I was just wondering which file contains this info.

Hello, Just wondering if where does the Hobbs meter extract it's data from? In the Airframe Manager when I create a new airframe, the engine seems to take accumulated time from somewhere, e.g. 7.3 hours instead of 2.3 hour I remember seing when I created my very first airframe in V 1.0. I am using V1.9 now Thanks

Hello, are there any plans to update the color of the toggles on the Overhead Panel, ECS, and Ice protection System? When it is cloudy and in the nighttime I struggle with knowing what position are my toggles. The Panel Lighting and cockpit lighting does not help either. Unfortunately we cannot feel the position of the toggles Even when I turn up my brightness and adjust the contrast it does not help much. Thank you!

Hello folks, when I set the timer on the PFD and an hour or two goes by, how come the hour stay at 00. Meaning I have been flying for two hours and nine minutes but I see 00:09:00 I looked at the XP G1000 manual but I cannot find a way to record the hours flown. Anyone figure this out? Thanks

It is my dream to ferry my own brand new TBM from LFBT to my home base! So that is what I am doing with my Hotstart TBM. When I took possession of it, there was already 2.2 hours on it + 6.8 hours for my first two legs! Hello, I am ferrying my TBM 900 from LBFT to CYND. On the first leg of my trip and the current second leg (EGPK to BIRK) I never see any wind information on the G1000, although the sim is set to real time/wx. Is this a feature that will be added later?

Same thing here! An endless loop! I have it selected to Autumn instead of auto and only in the TBM 900 does it arbitrarily say "Terramax is loading" and after it is finished it starts again to say that it is loading autumn. The cycle continues about every 10 minutes and real whether is off, and this is with a a fresh copy of XP 11.26. Please see video link. I could not find it but that is probably because I exported it while the TBM was loaded. I will restart the sim and try it.
