I am very excited to hear how this issue is fixed I have the same issue with a number of airports where I have custom overlay scenery. I wonder if it is a naming convention thing and whenther you have to fool xp10 into loading the overlay first then the airport after. I used a convention of labeling the overlay scenery with a Z_******* and that seemed to work in XP9 but I wonder if that is the solution to this in the new platform. Will be looking with excitement to solving this problem unless I just did?!

Wanted to report that this update fixes all my issues. I am able to capture loc/nav and fly correctly! thanks guys, your tireless support for this product is very much appreciated. Viva la CRJ! Cheers Phil

This seems very similar to my problems too, aside from that my autopilot will not engage the loc/nav to capture and I am also getting these -2120349045892 errors in terms of distances between points. I also find the crash to desktop with no error message or discernible log generated. I have returned to 1.3.2 for the time being... Phil

Well after much to-ing and fro-ing with this update I have decided to revert back to the previous version of the crj........without having to go into detail (which I really have no idea how to articulate) I am unable to make the update capture the loc/nav at all. I have uninstalled the plane 5 times and reinstalled.....removed the folder from my aircraft folder and reinstalled....left the navigraph out put my new navigraph in....etc etc. The plane loads fine and i adore the new fms changes but when I put in flight plans the distances between airports looks like this -210029384582 miles ....which is weird! The fms will then not engage whether i am on nav1 (set to manual or auto) or the fms, even when I take a waypoint and click direct to. Ok now im rambling......and noone is understanding what I am going on about I would have thought.........I also have crashes to desktop when using the fms in different ways ( hitting direct to, changing ils runways and approaches......I am sure it probably a plugin I already have in there but as soon as I reinstall Version 1.3.2. everything works like a charm again. Just to make you aware of this issue, its no biggie but I will have to shelf the updated version until I am able to figure it out or see a fix to this problem. I have no idea why it wont follow the waypoints but it is almost like the plane is not responding to the flight director in fms or nav 1 mode.....it will climb and descend on the autopilot and follow the heading bug no problem so that suggests the autopilot is working ok?????. Anyway off I go rambling again.....anyone with a solution please let me know or any suggestions other than the outstanding help already suggested by Cameron in the chat room last night then please let me know.......i hate to be a bother, but it bothers me no to be able to fly her! cheers, Phil

Hope this is the right place to post this but I am having an issue with the crj that I cannot fathom........the loc/nav for fms or nav 1 and nav 2 inputs will not capture at all and it seems like it will just not track the flight plan I inputted the purple guidance cross . I am also getting strange crashes to desktop while using the fms. Any assistance would be great and much appreciated as I did a flight last night from las to lax and had to fly the whole this using the heading bug

Hi guys and gals, I use an app called Skycharts.....(www.skycharts.net) pretty successfully for a while now...it communicates with x-plane well mooves smoothly and you can switch the overlay from different maps (ifr, vfr etc etc) As far as I am aware it just covers the USA and Canada but I think it is still fairly inexpensive compared to the competition. I use it for flying VFR and GA and find it invaluable as a resource. I hope people find that helpful. It also will map your flight plans too with airways and it gives you sids and stars of all airports too. Enjoy Best, Phil

What an excellent and thoroughly helpful comment this one is. The fact that you even took time to spend writing it has me scratching my head. Was it really worth the effort to try and make someone feel bad? I just dont understand I guess

I had this very same problem...it was bothering me........ then a little birdy told me to draw volumetric fog!!!! Now it looks awesome! Hope that fixes your problem too!
