  1. Thanks for posting this. I was about to start a similar topic. Mine was submitted May 2 so I'm just over a week now. I'll do my best to wait patiently.
  2. So, I've uninstalled SkyMaxx and it still crashes. I've uninstalled all my custom scenery and it crashes. I've uninstalled custom databases and it crashes. I'm at a loss. Looks like I will get a reinstall of X-plane.
  3. Yes, I was inside of the SkyMaxx settings. I fiddled with some more settings to try to eliminate the crashes but to no avail. I have now near 200 MB available. There is no overclocking, I just have a pretty beefy system. I've noticed every time it crashes, it's a similar last entry to the log file. I'm thinking of uninstalling SkyMaxx and flying the same flight to eliminate possibilities. Marcus Log.txt
  4. I recently started getting crashes after installing 3.1.2. Interestingly enough, I can't find the exact cause in the log.txt or the windows event viewer. However, in the log.txt the last entries are for SkyMaxx. You say 70MB isn't enough. I checked my settings and I have 400MB+. What is enough? Marcus
  5. I had a strange anomaly that I haven't been able to reproduce but did capture a screen shot of. Flying online, I was using the radio 2d pop-up to tune my com1 frequency then all of a sudden the hundredth digit was off by 1 every time I tuned. So, if I wanted 120.80, it would tune 120.81. I turned the radios off and back on to see if it would reset but I had no luck. To finish the flight, I used my com2 and didn't have problems. After the flight, I used the 3d radios on the center console and magically, it reset the hundredth position.
  6. Easy for you to say... You aren't waiting anymore.
  7. Testing is over 2 months along. I'm curious as to what types of problems beta testers are still seeing. Are they issues that will be delayed in being resolved with the development of the citation? Again, just curious.
  8. Please let me say that the aircraft is flyable on Pilotedge. However, plan your flights away from areas you know will require several frequency changes. When you know your next frequency will be tower, start working on it right away so you aren't fumbling through the radios while on 5 mile final. I've found that destinations near Santa Barbara are great for the Saab. So have a look at landing KSMX, KSBP, KSBA. Other good destinations are KBFL or KPSP. Anything in SoCal is pretty tough. Marcus
  9. I am with you on this too. Bummer it won't be included in the update. In the hangar it stays, for now.
  10. Removing 8's and 9's from the transponder?
  11. Can you advise if this is actively being corrected? I flew this lovely aircraft today online and was incredibly challenged when given frequency changes. Let me just say, don't do it when hand flying the airplane. I found that it took an average of 35-40 seconds to get the appropriate frequency tuned. It doesn't sound like much but when you can't see out your windows or even see you gauges, it seems like an eternity. I'm dealing with the transponder having unnecessary numbers but would still love to see that fixed.
  12. Any chance for a quick hotfix to at least fix the transponder by eliminating 8's and 9's?
  13. Great! Thanks for looking into it. I really enjoy operating the aircraft!
  14. I was sitting in the left seat zoomed out as far as I could. I was assigned a beacon code of 1745. It seems too slow to switch to the code. Also, the transponder has 8s and 9s available. @JGregory, I am referrring to the speed at which the frequency changes. I fly online and when I get a frequency change, it seems to take so long to be able to check in on the new frequency. I couldn't imagine having to fly the mini-route over LAX and being able to switch frequencies on time and still be able to fly the plane.
  15. Does anybody think the radio dials turn a little too slowly? For my blood they do. Is there anyway to adjust the speed when holding the knob?
